Customer Reviews

Moon Shield X Auto Light is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Doc45 from Excellent rear light. Very bright. I've owned one of these lights for years and it's still working well. The light is very bright depending which mode you set. Especially the daytime flashing mode. It needs charging more often these days but I can still get a couple of rides out of it before recharging it. It clips on my tool bag below my saddle. I did snap the plastic securing clip one day when removing it in a hurry. I was able to repair it by removing the phillips screw and replacing it with a stainless steel clip from an old tape measure. I would certainly consider buying another if and when it eventually fails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mandalini from Looks good , and it’s robust Haven’t heard of this make before , am pleasantly surprised, it’s a bit tricky to turn on the right settings at first but I’ve got used to the double clicking to turn on , it’s lasts for long time compared to other re-chargers , about a week using the constant beam early mornings and evening, and I’ve even been using the flash mode in the day when dark and rainy! It’s wasn’t cheap but it’s value for money with it’s tough and sturdy design really pleased I chose this one !

Battery Hours at different settings

Can you please explain difference between Steady Flash which at 35 Lumens only lasts 6.5hrs and DayFlash which at the much brighter 150 Lumens lasts 25hrs, almost 4 times longer.
Asked by: GrandadRichard
Because the constant takes more energy! To be on constant I think it lasts longer than 6 hours not sure about the difference between the flashes but when the battery starts to get low it goes on to a dimmer flash which is still quite bright and last for quite a while
