    Description

    Back in 1989, OMM were responsible for creating the first stretch running waterproofs. They have continued that trend and lead the way, creating and testing garments continuously on the adventurous Original Mountain Marathon. 

    The latest edition features OMM's unique super stretch fabric combined with a minimal stretch seam construction. This provides you with a full range of movement and allows the jacket to easily move with you and stands up against the tough mountain marathon testing ground.

    Stay dry in this fully featured high performance waterproof.

    Waterproof (20,000mm hydrostatic head)
    Breathable (15,000gsm/24hr)

     

    Washing and care advice: 

    · Wash at 30° using a non-detergent wash

    · Wash every 6-8 weeks of regular use

    · Spray with specialist re-proofer after washing

    · Tumble Dry low for no more than 10 min. The heat helps bond the proofer to the fabric.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only recomended for drowing rats Don't buy this jacket if you want to stay dry. Do buy this jacket if you want a super absorbant fabric that holds its own weight in water and has wrap around seems and open cuffs that soak your arms up to your elbows and leave your backside feeling damp. A super lightweight, comfortable and great looking jacket. But a total fail from OMM in terms of all weather mountain performance. I was beyond dissapointed when having to actually put this jacket to the test. The low cut chin guard is also not neccessary for the articulated hood and many other jackets have better comfort and hood performance. On the occasion you need to zip up the hood you probably want to sheild your face too and the Kamleika fails to let you do this and your face will feel completely open to the elements. The main selling points of this jacket uunfortunately seem to be it complete down fall. I can't recomend this jacket at all unless you are looking for a cool looking summer jacket that will serve you on the mountain providing the worst you will face is a very light rain shower and some wind. Sorry OMM. Please try better next time.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good jacket, lightweight, excellent quality I already bought this jacket 10 years ago and I bought it again. It has improved much the quality of the fabric with respect to the previous one 10 years ago, it is lighter than the previous one, it is breathable and it protects phenomenally of the rain, the green color I love and the truth that all the Omm products. I recommend buying it.

This OMM jacket was purchased as a Christmas present for my brother who has started doing fell running, he has never used this brand before but had been recommended it! He absolutely loves it, he’s extremely tall and slim but it fits perfect and allows movement, he is very pleased even said his big sis had done well with his Christmas present!

    Under or over running vest?

    Is this jacket suitable for running over or under a back pack or running vest?

    This jacket could be worn over a running vest but as the jacket is form fitting a back pack would need to be worn over the top of the jacket.
