Park Tool Park Tool BBT-5/FR-11 BB Tool - Cassette Lock Ring Tool
After battling with an old Campy freewheel that was jammed on to a screw on hub, I decided to buy this lock ring tool and pair it with the Park SR-11 chain whip to get a bit of extra leverage. The quality of both tools is fantastic and I managed to get the freewheel off at the first attempt.

Broke first time I used it. Using the Life line chain whip (which is a good product) and a part of the side boke off without using much force at all.
To Wiggles credit they sorted it out very quickly and refunded me.

A good quality tool.
This fits Campag cassettes perfectly. Used with the Park sprocket/ chain whip tool, its perfect for fitting and removing Campag cassettes. The tool fits perfectly into the spanner part of the Park sprocket remover/chain whip tool- meaning that you have secure fit for the lock ring tool, and can easily apply sufficient torque to fit or remove cassettes. I have found all Park tools well made and durable- a brand I trust and their web page gives a guide on how to service your bike using their tools- perfect for the home mechanic.

Good quality, does the job.
Excellent tool, good fit at the spline end. But if you decide to use it with a torque wrench or a socket spanner, be warned that the nut end is a 1" AF size #perhaps because Park are American?#, and not metric. So you'll probably need to buy an extra socket #plus a 3/8" to 1/2" drive adapter if you don't already have one#. Both available from Draper.

Fits BB from Campi and does it's job with potential savings over Campi's own tool. ParkTool as always is reliable.

Park Cassette Lock Ring tool - Campagnolo
This tool works fine, and as always it is cheaper than Campagnolo original. Just follow the included user instruction. In particular make sure to fixate the tool with a skewer before attempting to unlock the cassette ring. This step prevents potential slipping and consequential damage to the tool's teeth.

I was slightly dubious buying this because of the price, but I know the brand and have heard good reviews about it. Used to remove my old Miche cassette and fit in a genuine Campy and this worked perfectly. No signs of it being soft and as an occasional user I'm sure will last me a while.

Great quality cassette removal tool. More than up to the rating of 40n/M of campag cassettes. Just follow the instructions and use in conjunction with a quick release.

as good as Campy
Don't pay the extra money for the genuine Campag one this does the job as good as any other. I'm just waiting for the Park Tools version of the 11 speed Campag chaintool and save myself a packet!

Good repair tool
Found this Park product to be a simple unit, looks like high grade steel and quality made. It is easy to use, and can see that it should have a long life.

Broke after one attempt
Spline not long enough and material too soft. Splines sheared after first use when trying to remove 7 speed cassete from MTB wheel. Have ordered longer tool from alternative PRO manufacturer for less than half the price. Cassette still on wheel!

Campag cassette tool
Simple but effective with the chain whip. engages well with the cassette which my previous tool, which was half the price, did not. So I guess worth the extra but still seems a lot for a modified nut!

Hi Marcus, When you take a look on the Park Tool website you will notice they themselves recommend it for Campagnolo. I guess you need the FR-5, FR-5G or FR-1, but take a look on the Park Tool website: "Tools" and "Freewheel & Cassette". Hopefully this will help you.
