Updated with a new wider rim and featuring our unique shiny decals the new Prime RR-50 SEs wheels will take you to the next level in performance and style, but if you prefer the stealth look, we've included a black decal kit in the box.

Powerful Aerodynamic Efficiency and Stability

The Prime RR-50 SE Carbon Clincher Road Wheelset features an updated 50mm deep aero rim profile to provide strong aerodynamic properties, meaning you'll go faster for the same effort. The wider 27.5mm external width leads to an optimised tyre to rim interface, which reduces rolling resistance and creates a greater contact patch for improved stability in corners.

Direct Power Transfer, Instant Acceleration

The Prime RR-50 SE Carbon Clincher Wheelset features the R020 hubset and is handbuilt with Pillar spokes. The R020 hubset features a superlight forged alloy 7075 freehub body that has 4 pawls and 26 points of engagement for instant acceleration. The R020 freehub also features ABG (Anti Bite Guard) Technology to eliminate cassette damage from driving forces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seem good quality Bought these to replace some standard ally wheels I had, they’re 400g lighter and look great. Seem to be built well and have a good finish and from riding them once quickly they felt much better. Was a little worried about the longevity of them but for the price so far I’m very impressed. Free hub is quiet which I quite like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent wheels for the price! Took me a while to get carbon wheels but when I saw this deal I had to get it. The wheels were true out of the box. I have done a few hundred miles in mixed conditions even at the top of a completely exposed dam on a windy day, they behaved. The tires included were easy to install and the combination, tires/rim, have cut road chatter by a lot. My speed has increased noticeably and they roll so easily and that I have to check computer because ride is so plush that it feels like I am going slow. An added plus are those blingy decals that are easy to see even during night rides. However, I would have like the hub to have a louder click while cruising.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great starter carbon hoops Got a set of these back in the spring and managed to stick around 2500km on them. My first carbon wheels and they haven’t missed a beat. Stayed true, no issues so far with bearings, managed to avoid the wet on them so braking has been fine. I did remove the decals as I prefer them that way, I struggled to get my tyre of choice on them (schwalbe one v guard), had to use my mate with his thumbs of steel, although once stretched they are fine now. Weight shown is about right give or take a few grams. I’ve no other carbon wheels to compare against but been really happy and would recommend.

Can the decals be easily taken off

Hi, I see that spare black decals come in the box - can the multi-colour ones be removed relatively easily? Ie. are they just stickers? Thanks for your help Emlyn

Is the internal and external width identical to the RR-50 V2 Clincher?

The dimensions are noted as having a 27.5mm external width but the RR-50 V2 states 25mm even though a previous question states they are identical bar the decals? What is accurate?

Are these tubeless like the rr 50 v2’s?

Yes they're tubeless compatible but don't come set up tubeless. You'll need to buy tubeless tape, valve, sealant and tubeless tyres.

25mm or 27.5mm what?

Does the rim have two different external widths? or does this refer to the tires? Description says external 27.5mm rim width, video says 25mm width, other answers quote a 25mm width, in agreement with the RR V2 rim, but what is correct? if I press the 27.5mm option what do I get in the post? not very clear! regards

Tubeless?

I was told on Wiggle Chat by an advisor that these wheels are not tubeless compatible but when I have looked at the questions it says they are but just need tubeless valves and rim tape. Can you confirm if these are definitely tubeless compatible before I order some tubeless tyres? Thanks

I can confirm the wheel set will be compatible as a tubeless option, but you will need to purchase a tubeless conversion kit.
