    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for Specialized Allez! Cannot fault the product, really well made by Ritchey. If you like me have struggled to find a 3rd party headset bearing for your Specialized then i'm afraid, so far, this is not the product you need (subject to change re. crown race). I have a Specialized Allez Elite 2013 and after googling the exact specification from specialized, these exact bearings popped up again and again. After speaking to a Wiggle rep, he confirmed that these would fit. Unfortunately they do not-much to my continued frustration! There is a very small gap, no more than 2mm at the fork and indeed below the cone spacer which I struggled to compress with the top cap. I would imagine I would need to change the crown race also for this to function properly which is another major frustration. Looks like its another refurb with very very worn original Specialized bearings for now.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Planet X roadbike The headset of my road bike had started to make a grinding noise, and upon investigation it looked like the bearings needed replacing. The set comes with 2 bearings for the top and bottom of the headset and have a small amount of grease applied.

    I know these state 30.2 but wonder whether they would fit or do you have any other alternatives

    How 'deep' are these bearings?

    I need some 41.8x30.15 45x45 bearings to fit a Kuota frame but all the ones I've found on the net have been 7mm deep which is ever so slightly too deep for the headset. Ideally, I think I need 6mm ones. Many thanks in advance, Ed

    Need bearings for 2009 Ribble Sportive Racing - 45/45, 41.8 Campag

    Hi there - looking for a higher quality set of bearings for a Ribble Sportive Racing frame/forks. Spec is 1'1/8 x 1'1/8 Hidden, 45/45, 41.8 Outside Dia, Campag Compatible. I think these should work, but picture and descriptions don't match. Can you explain? Do they come as a pair? Many thanks, Miles.

    Does it suit for scott addict r2 2011?

    The correct size bearing for the Scott Addict R2 is 41 x 30.15 with 45 degree chamfer. 41.8 is too big - I've just received one on the 'strength' of the previous answer and will have to send it back .
