The Ruut Ti provides exceptional stability, comfort and poise for loose terrains, fast trails and long days in the saddle, the Ruut Ti is ideal for exploring, racing and touring. It is fitted with a Shimano GRX 1x11-Speed groupset that features a wide-ranging 10-42-tooth cassette for smooth and efficient gear shifting and powerful hydraulic disc brakes.
The Ruut range was born from the need to have a versatile bike. One that would be comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance riding, but at the same time would retain a clearly sporty character. At Rondo, they are all competitive riders - they ride fast, they race - but they don't need a bike for the Cyclocross (CX) World's. What they want from a drop-bar bike is to be able to go long, and go fast, especially on rough roads. So, after over two years of development, Rondo came up with a tool that is the ultimate solution for real-world riders.
The RUUT TI is one of Rondo's most aggressive off-road bikes, designed for real-world riders and proper racing fun. Made with a titanium frame that is built to withstand steep descents and gnarly trails. The Spank Wing 12 Vibrocore handlebars feature a comfortable flat top filled with foam to absorb impact on uneven surfaces. New X-Wide HUNT gravel wheels with straight pull spokes and extra-wide 25mm internal rims ensure superior grip and better stability. And it also looks fantastic.
Engineered and equipped for riding off-road trail and gravel tracks, this ride rolls upon Rondo X Hunt wheels wrapped in Vittoria Terreno tyres. This wheel/tyre combo gives fast-rolling and confidence-inspiring grip across all terrains. Plus, these wheels are held in place by stiff and reliable 12mm thru-axles and a quality Rondo finishing kit provides top-level comfort and style for wherever you ride.
In a world-first design for drop bar bikes, the Ruut Ti features Rondo’s “TwinTip” forks, which enable the rider to change the geometry to suit the terrain/riding type. This is thanks to their adjustable dropouts, which can be set in the “HI” setting for steeper angles for a low and aggressive road bike feel, or the “LO” setting for a slightly longer wheelbase and slacker angles, making it ideal for endurance or off-road adventure riding.
Thanks to the unique TwinTip fork you can change your position and adjust the steering character of the bike.
The first setting, with steeper angles, a smaller trail and a lower riding position will be the choice for racing and dynamic, sporty riding on smooth roads. The alternative fork setting gives the bike slacker angles, a longer trail and a bit more relaxed riding position, perfect for long-distance adventure riding and endurance training. It also gives the rider a lot of confidence in challenging off-road terrain, especially on fast, steep downhills.
