Haven't had a single puncture in 9months
After getting 3 punctures in the space of a month last November it was time to change my tyres. I did a lot of research and it was between these or the gatorskins. I can't actually recall now why I opted for these but I am very glad that I did. I cycle around Dublin commuting maybe 70 - 100 miles a week on rough road, over shattered glass, bicycle lanes etc. I no longer worry about getting a puncture and every 3 weeks or so just check the tyre pressure is above 90 psi. I have a road bike for leisure/long distance cycling and got a puncture on both front and back cycling 120miles 1 day and may transfer these over to test if they make it much slower, currently only have standard conti sport which have minimal puncture resistance. I digress, if you want puncture proof tyres buy the durano plus, you won't be disappointed. Search youtube on best method for putting on tyres as they are less flexible than most.

Solid tyre and folds away nicely
I had one of these Durano Plus and a Gatorskin hardshell on each of my wheels - the Durano has outlasted the Gatorskin and also folds away nicely as a spare when touring.

Good grip, comfortable & no punctures yet
Grip and puncture protection are reassuring on the 20km each way commute.
No punctures yet over a thousand k or so.

Easy to fit and no issues (punctures) so far
Easy to fit. Runs smoothly.
Cannot comment on the durability but very pleased so far.
I am currently preferring this product to the Gatorskins that i have used on my road bike to date. I based the change on using an almost indestructible Schwalbe marathon plus on my hybrid bike.

Why change?
Superb tyres! I have bought these as spares but my previous 3 sets have lasted well and I haven't suffered any punctures at all until yesterday when, after a couple of miles of unplanned rough tracks, I picked up a shard of glass.
Not bad after 5 years without any problems!

Tough and rolls fine
I've done around 500 miles on these so far and have no complaints at all. They've not punctured once, despite a couple of quite deep gouges and they seem to roll just fine and haven't felt overly skittish or slippery in the wet. Highly recommended!

Great tyre
Great tyre with excellent puncture protection. Rolls well and was excellent value for money on purchase.

lets see
Had my first puncture in quite a few years after putting these on, coincidence or what?
In saying that the tyre is fine and I did not get to see what caused the blowout so it would be unfair to judge harshly yet

Durable training tire
While I have raced on these tires, they're really best as a durable training tire. I ride on relatively good roads and I haven't flatted in years. The 25's ride well and hold up well. It took about 10k km before the rear tire was so squared off that I could start to see the anti puncture belt below the tread.

Best tyres ever purchased
After months of constant punctures I invested in these tyres. I have not had one since. Still great performance, I feel confident with the grip although didn't last as long as I would havery hoped

Great Tyer
No punctures in 5000 + miles. Is a tad heavy but worth the sacrifice for no punctures!

Great tyres
I like cycling. I hate fixing punctures on the roadside. I bought these. Absolutely brilliant. I've ridden hundreds of miles and on close inspection they have taken their fair share of cuts from the terrible roads around Manchester but nothing has got through and they're still going strong. They roll well enough - I still get the occasional segment PB on Strava so they don't feel like much of a compromise at all. Highly recommended.

Best tyres I've bought
I never buy other tyres now. These have pretty much eliminated punctures which I would say is the main concern for most who do not race.

great way of adding some speed to a mountain bike!
Took a mountain bike with mountain bike tyres to the alps and found the standard mountain bike tyres were unsuited to high speed descents on alpine roads. Changed to these Durano's and could really fly down the mountain roads, vast improvement on the mountain bike tyres on tarmac.

Superb
On a dirty commute these tyres simply shrug off glass, thorns and all manner of road detritus . They are not the lightest, not the fastest but I haven't had to change in tube in quite a while!

Best all weather winter tyres
The best training/winter tyres for exceptional puncture-proofing and really good grip in all weather. Much much better than Gatorskins for protection, grip and feel in the wet. I hear people have problems fitting them, but I have not had any issues with beaded or folding versions. Use 25mm all year round on both bikes.

Great tyres
Bought them at the beginning of the winter period and touch wood have not had a puncture. 25mm is still quick and much more comfy than 23mm think I am a convert. will buy again

Bomb proof robust tyres
I've been using Durano Plus for over 2 years now and they are an excellent robust offering. Previously I used Continental Gatorskins for my winter riding but I had issues with the grip they afforded in the wet. I have none of the grip issues with the Durano's. Highly recommended as an all round, do anything road tyre

Best tyres for speed without punctures
These tyres are the best compromise for going pretty fast with the confidence of puncture free riding. I am on my 4th pair (on various road bikes) and have had only one puncture in about 3 years of use. These folding ones are the best as they save on some of the weight of the puncture protection layer.

Unbeatable puncture protection
I live in London and the roads in and out of the city seem to be strewn with all kinds of broken glass, nails, bits of metal, etc. I was getting punctures pretty much every other ride, on average, and after one particularly disastrous outing where I had two punctures, the second of which caused me to crash, I bought these. I haven't had a single puncture so far in about 9 months riding. The only downside is they're a bit hefty compared to the Continental GP4000s I was running before, but it's a price worth paying

Good and strong
Had a pair of these for commuting training. and was really please. Made the mistake of then trying Michelin pro4 endurance, lasted literally 2 weeks. Straight back to Schwalbes

puncture roof
Ridden them over the winter in all weathers. They stick to the road and haven't punctured.

Slow, heavy and not for me
I have always used Continental 4 season tyres on my commuter bike but decided to try these when I needed replacements due to the slightly cheaper price point (£6 per tyre) and favourable reviews.
These tyres may have superior puncture protection but the trade off is a significant reduction in performance.
The bike immediately felt heavier and the "spongy ride" is disconcerting as the rear tyre feels permanently flat. My Strava feeds showed an immediate deterioration in performance with my average commute time increasing by 3-4 mins (this on a 50 minute commute).
As others have noted they are very difficult to fit with a high likelihood of pinching tubes unless you exercise a lot of care (and effort).
I persevered with the tyres for a month before deciding to replace with Conti's 4S. Before doing so I replaced the Duranos with standard mavic tyres (the ones which came with the bike) to double check that my performance deterioration was wholly due to the tyres. My commute times immediately returned to their previous 50 min (and sub) level and this has remained the case since fitting the replacement continental tyres.

Wonderful winter tyre
Takes a load off my mind - the last thing I want to do is mend punctures by the roadside in winter. The tyres were nowhere near as difficult to put on as I'd read and despite the minimal tread they have great grip. I was surprised to discover a recommended tyre pressure of 85-115 psi (my car is just 28 ! ) and a confusing insert in the box implied a much lower pressure. However, Wiggle sorted it out rapidly on the phone for me (many thanks!) and now that I've got use to them, I wouldn't go back to my previous tyres for anything. Highly recommended for anyone on the road in the winter!
highly recommended

Great tyre but unable to fit
Difficult to review as I know the tyre has great qualities from past experience such as having good rolling qualities, good handling characteristics and being very puncture resistant yet at an acceptable weight. The but being I could not get the onto the wheel at least not without puncturing 4 inner tubes, on a closer look it seems the beads seemed 'odd' perhaps out of alignment but without proper equipment I can be definitive. I have returned them to Wiggle (who I continue to recommend) and ordered the fixed version of this tyre. I have fitted many tyres both standard and folded tyres in many years of cycling but would need reassurance that Schwalbe have improved the fitting qualities.

1200 winter miles ,no punctures despite some off-road sections

The winter tyre to have
This is the winter tyre to buy. Done over 3000 miles and not a single puncture.

Secure ...comfort... confident... riding.... highly recommended.

Fantastic - no flats in 6 months of winter use - used in all conditions

Perfect training tyres!
These tyres might not be great for racing, but they are absolutely perfect for training. I've got over 4000km on mine, and I don't think I've had a single puncture with them. They've been through all sorts of riding - hot summer riding, and miserably cold & wet winter riding. They perform admirably. Can be a bit hard to fit, but that doesn't really matter because you won't be taking them off much!
