Great tires
I got flat and my Gatorskins were worn out so I got these and I like them! I ride mto the gym mostly and recreationally so It;s not all good smooth asphalt. Durano Plus may be because ot the extra protection feel softer and take on the rough road a lot better than the G'skins. I am very happy with them!

The best puncture proof tyres for road bikes. Gives you peace of mind.

Now my go-to commute tyre...
Having tried Specialized Armadilos (hard ride, poor grip in the wet, hard to put on/take off AND they punture) and Conti Gatorskins (great ride feel, good grip... BUT they puncture) I have now done a couple of thousand plus commuting miles on the Duranos and these are the best. No punctures but a decent ride quality and reasonable grip in the wet. Have just bought a second pair for a spare set of wheels. Not quite a pretty when new as the Gatorskins but as they soon get filthy not a showstopper!

Good so far
Only been using these a week so far but no problems so far and they feel nice and smooth as I ride. Bit early to tell on how well they perform vs punctures and general wear and tear but will know more after a couple thousand miles or so. Weren't the easiest to put on but as I don't put tires on often so it's not really a problem.

Great tyre but a B^*&% to fit!
Used these tyres all through the winter without puncture and they are great up to a point... the pint where you get a razor sharp piece of flint in one and you have to change a tube on the road. The beading on the tyres is next to impossible to get onto my rims without pinching the tube.
Take my advice - get folding ones instead - the bead is much easier to fit!

Durano Plus
Great Tyre my last set did over 5000 miles and only 1 Puncture cant say better than that highly reccomended tyre for traning and commuting. It does roll pretty good and I have used this tyre on many Sportives too.

High quality, little bit heavy
I bought this to replace my old tyres on my commuter bike but didn't pay attention and chose the non-foldable version. It's a bit difficult to store if you want it as a spare and heavier than the foldable option (which you can absolutely feel when trying to get going). Otherwise great Schwalbe quaiilty, I've been using them for ages now.

Great tyre
I cycle 26 miles a day to and from work. I started using these in January and have had no issues (touchwood) as of yet. Good grip and good puncture protection. I wouldn't get any other tyre now.

Excellent
Best tyres I've bought. Went for the 25c version & now swear by them.
Watched a couple of videos online & with the correct technique, was able to fit these by hand (ie, without tyre levers) remarkably easily!
Will buy these from now on.

All good so far
Punctures are the bane of London cycling. No issues with them so far, although winter riding will be the test.
Good price and service from Wiggle

Great, possibly, puncture proof tyre.
Almost a perfect tyre with good grip and no punctures. The only thing is that I hoped the 25c could be inflated to the 145psi which the 23c can be. Its max is only 110psi.
If you're obsessed with stiff frames and are on 110psi then get the 23c and get the pressures up to 140psi and this makes a lot more difference than expensive tubing. ;)

Once discovered it is now my go to tire
The confidence of riding on a pair of Schwalbe Durano Plus tyres cannot be overstated,
gone are the days of Conti 4000 and others, I know they are heavier but you go much further without punctures so ypu don't have to buy as many new tubes and the time saved in not having to fix flats.

A1 so far- but time may tell!
These replaced a couple of 'slicks' owing to them being 'tired'. The Durano + are marginally heavier; but little as makes no difference. Durano's are a 'stickier' compound than my last tyres, good on cornering and steep downhill braking; their tread pattern also aids stability in the wet. Overall I'm well pleased with them and they represent good value for money. I've not done a huge mileage with them but have done a fair bit on minor back-roads through Scottish hillsides and they have held up well, so here's hoping. I would definitely recommend for training or sportive type events.

will slow ya down but pretty bombproof
I cycle for 10 miles on an a road cycle track to work. This is usually littered with sharp and nasty things. These tyres have performed really well over 500 miles. The rolling resistance is quite high but am used to it now. Have found a few bits of glass and metal wedged in the tread but they havent punctured yet!
I bought the 25mm tyres and run them at 80 psi on my genesis equilibrium commuter machine. Comfy and grippy.

Excellent quality, improved my riding comfort tremendously!

A good puncture resistant tyre
A little bit difficult to fit on the rim, but a good tyre if you don´t want to have punctures.

Super Tyres
Bought these 28's as a replacement for 23's when they could no longer cope with UK roads and was starting to prevent me getting my racer out of the garage. Found the tyres to be very comfortable on my old school racer. Durable, low rolling resistance and gives confidence when smoothing out these rubbish UK roads - will definitely be my first choice for training bike.

Nice and nippy so far
Swapped these in about a month ago for the boxy 28cc that came with the (hybrid) bike. Have been great so far and the bike feels a lot nimbler on them. Perfect for the commute so far, though I haven't seen any seriously nasty weather.
One word of warning, they were an absolute pig to put on - two broken tire irons and a huge blood blister. not looking forward to changing a tube in the lashing rain.

Does the job ,no puncture so far
Have been using this tyre on good and bad roads, wet and some sand.So far the tyre has stood up to the task with no punctures.Due to wheel problems ,have been using different set of wheel for last month or so.Now fitted to a new set of wheels , the tyre is back on the road and will be used through the year on a fixture of roads surfaces ,and country lanes.

Reliable and gets you home!!
Been using these in 25s for the last 18months and found them great for the rough Dorset roads and Yorkshire Dales.
Only had 2 punctures in 5000+ miles and was able to ride home without needing to stop in the rain and repair them!!

Grand ole winter tyre
very heavy duty, puncture free miles in winter - took a couple of rides to get used to the heavy tyres as semed to be behind alot - but then on the plus side its makes you stronger !
03 March 2016
good value, good rolling
This is the first time I have fitted 700X25 (Usually 23's) to my bike and after reading reviews and seeing the sale on Wiggle I purchased a pair. They arrived on the Tuesday and I was out with my group on Wednesday, the rolling was good and handled the wet and muck very well.
I am 5'6 tall., weigh 10.7 stone (usually), I inflated the tyres to 90lb to the front and 100lb to the rear.
On the way home I punctured, it was caused by a shard of glass entering just off of centreline defeating the protection area, it was easy to get the tyre off and on using tyre leavers, the glass has left a cut so will have to wait to see how the tyre holds up.

schwalbe duranos
ridden 100 miles on them feel really good. however they are a pig to get on and off either I am getting old or these are tricky and you risk cuts to hands as the tyre levers slip as you put in the effort!!
28 February 2016
not the quickest but no punctures
Nice tyre - I commute on glass strewn paths and after a few hundred miles it still looks good with very few nicks and no punctures. Its been on the rear with heavy panniers in all weather. In that time the Lithion 2 I had on the front has punctured twice.
21 February 2016
good puncture resistant tyre
once fitted the tyre produces confidence during the winter months with good handling and puncture resistance
15 February 2016
The most durable tyre i've had
have them a year - not one puncture. Commuting 15km (through Dublin city centre) each way 5 days a week on them plus weekend 80-130km spins over the 6month period around winter.
The ride on them is a bit dead but I'm not a fan of changing punctures in winter conditions so I'll take it.
I'll be buying them again

Lasting puncture protection
Had these tyres for around 6 months riding 120 miles minimum a week before I had my first puncture. This includes over the wet and cold Christmas period so all in all, for the price, really pleased with the quality of these. They are starting to wear a little now but have given me around 2500 miles through good and bad weather and all the c*ap in the Central London gutters so one puncture is a result in my book. Would happily buy a set of these every 6 months / 2500 miles for the price. Highly recommended from me.
09 February 2016
good value all round tyre. delivered on time. well satisfied.
08 February 2016
New for old
I bought this tyre to replace another Schwalbe Durano tyre that was about 4 years old and had worn through due to general use.
In those 4 years, I'd only had 2 punctures but this was due to nails or large shards of glass. I would definitely recommend these robust tyres and will always buy them for my daily commuting bike.

Good tyre
Easily fitted this trye to my winter bike. I was a little concerned that the extra rubber would affect ride quality but I have to say it rolls really well. Some reviews have metioned a 'hard ride' but this has not been the case for me & I've found it really comfortable. The grip in the wet is excellent, much better than I anticipated. You'll never win races with it but for putting in the hard miles over winter training it's one of the best I've had.
