As good as Ultegra
Replaced my whole chain set with 105 components. I have the full Ultegra chainset on my other road bike. I honestly cannot feel any difference from105 to my Ultegra. My wallet is better off though. Fully recommend 105 components and with the savings made I am upgrading my wheel set. Forget Ultegra cranks these are equally as good in my opinion along with the other component parts. Feels and looks as good.

Great item, well priced

Nice
Shimano quality. Fitted to a Boardman Hybrid Pro after the original FSA stuff wore out. Fitted easily with suitable Shimano BB. it works, and i am happy therefore all is well in the saddle.

Cranks
Decent cranks for commuting and general use. Still a fair amount of flex when stomping up hills but that is to be expected.

Great replacement
I got this chainset to replace a FSA compact Pro because the crank arm got threaded on it. At the same time I decided to convert my frame to a threaded bottom bracket so I could get rid of the BB30 / PF30 bottom bracket and the tools that are associated with servicing that bracket. This was achieved using a FSA adaptor sleeve unit. After the conversion I installed the Shimano BBR60 bottom bracket followed by this chainset. It was a straightforward swap out and even the front gears needed no adjustment.
Service from Wiggle as always was amazing and I got the chainset price matched which was the icing on the cake!

Saved my legs!!
Bought this at the last minute as was concerned
my legs would give out too soon using 53/39
on a trip to the mountains in France - and am
I glad I did!
Got a friend to fit it the night before we left (not
ideal perpetration I know) but was a fairly straight
forward process) and everything worked well.
Service was great too as I ordered it at 2.50pm
on a Monday and it was delivered at 10.30am
the following day! Spot on. Oh and a great few
days in the mountains too!

Great upgrade
Broke my left crank so replaced whole chain set with 105 hollowtech to go with groupset. So far the Hollowtech is performing so much better than original, better shifting, lighter and stiffer.
If wanting to upgrade from lesser model or lower shimano spec then thoroughly recommend.

quality component at budget price
Purchased as a straight replacement for Shimano r565 crank, with a shorter 170mm crank-arm.
A little disappointed at the matt paint-finish, as my r565 was a glossy-lacquered finish. Hence the reason why I gave a 4-star rating only.

Bike came with 53/39 crank. Changed to the compact 50/34
And for me I was able to spin easier and climbing hills much easier.

Nice fit and good quality
Upgraded from the FSA Gossamer chainset that came with the bike.
Feels more solid together with the Hollowtech II BB.

Awesome bit of kit
Awesome bit of kit, had to replace the FSA crankset on my Trek Cross-Rip Elite as they were too long for me and at the same time replace the knackered internal style bottom bracket (only 6 months old and felt like grinding stones when rotating), so decided to upgrade and go for an external style BB (BB-R60 Ultegra 6800/105 5800 Hollowtech ii) and Shimano 105 crankset, and even better they were on offer. Easy to fit with the correct tools (you’ll also need the “Shimano Crank Installation Tool for HollowTech II” to set the preload), slight adjustment of the front derailleur and off you go, just feels better in everyway compared to the old setup
