Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too short for carbon fork Although shown as being suitable for a carbon fork, I find that, at 18 mm, they are much too short for the fork on my Ridley Orion frame. The gap between the tip of the caliper bolt and the back of the fork is around 30 mm and thus requires a nut of at least 35 mm, which is not available from Wiggle or other major suppliers. I eventually tracked one down at the third of the local bike shops I visited - and they only had the one. Product returned to Wiggle as completely unsuitable.

Caliper Brake Sunken Nut

do you have these bolts in 24/25mm length.... i need one longer than the longest you have online at 18mm? Thanks

Either 10.5 or 18mm The 10.5 looks almost normal size that you would receive with brakes as standard. I am using the 18 on a set of 55mm carbon forks.

Where can I find a 35mm version of this?

I need a longer version for a shimano 105 front calliper on an old Felt F5. Does anyone know where I can find one? Strangely it doesn’t seem to be a standard size.

is this nut open on the allen key end so that a bolt can thread though either side? (for attaching a mudguard to the rear of the front fork)
