An awesome hub
Not flashy and not the lightest but one of the best rolling hubs around. Laced up nicely to 55mm carbon rim with Sapim CX Ray spokes making a very fast wheel. My previous experience with Dura-Ace hub gives me 100% confidence these will be virtually maintenance free and roll fast for many years.

Shimano Dura Ace 9000 Rear Hub
- Compatible, easy fitted,
- Smooth rolling as it is Shimano - Dura Ace
- Disappointed by the Hub Sound when not pedalling, as the sound is low..

Top quality hub
A used this hub to build a set of wheels using H P Son rims and Sapim spokes.
I built the wheel using a 2X cross pattern.
I have covered several thousand miles since building the wheels.
I have not needed to adjust or carry out any maintenance on the bearings at all.
An expensive hub but of a very high quality.

The best hub money can buy
Great rolling, super smooth, easily serviceable hub. Pure class and good looks.
Built up into a nice rim makes for the best training wheels going around.

These are top of the range hubs, probably the best on the market without being crazy expensive, they are a little heavier than say dt 240 but they cost less, they come with very nice skewers and they have a titanium freehub rather than alloy, this means that it wont get chewed up by cassettes so far more practical and well thought out rather than going for super light weight.

Seems expensive but actually very good value
Seems expensive at first but compared to some of the ' fancy eye candy anodised offerings out there but sctually very good value . In fact many of the higher priced ' high end offerings still use aluminium free hub body's for example rather than the beautiful titanium body of the Dura Ace . At 240 g slightly heavier than some of the other high end hubs which can be put down to the use of ' bullet proof cup and cone bearings compared to lighter ' press in ball races used on lighter hubs . Before you build a wheel with any of the new 11 speed hubs on the market read up on the issues surrounding the non drive side spoke tension issues than can be encountered ( you need a very strong rim which can handle very high drive side tensions )
