does the job
Fitted this to an existing Alivio triple crankset. (square taper BB). The bike is used for commuting and the extra teeth allows a higher speed. Easy to fit with no problems when changing up.

Easy to fit.
I replaced a worn out chainring with this part and it has worked well since.

Great quality, excellent value
No issues with this -- the look is great, the quality is great and the price was awesome.

good quality if a little pricey but I am sure I will get plenty of use from it

Standard Shimano quality
What can you say really - a decent mid-range(ish) chainring - exactly the quality you'd expect from Shimano! Bought to replace a cheap & nasty FSA chainring that had sharks teeth in under 300 miles - false economy buying the bottom range ones, put a bit in and get a decent machined one like this and get more from your machine!!

Hi, I have a spare bike I want to fix..would like to use old but okay shimano 8 speed shifters, with a new 8 speed chain and cassette. Will this 9 speed chainring, as well as the FC M660 22 and 32 tooth ones be compatible with either shimano or sram 8 speed cassette and chain? There seems to be no 8 speed specific rings around and I hear 9 speed should work?
I have an XT M760 crankset and am looking at replacing my outer chainring but i want to make sure this is compatible and i tried an SLX outer chainring but found it wasn't compatible. The cheapest i have found (an original M760) outer chain ring is still a lot of money for what it is. Are there any alternatives to the M760 out chainrings i can use. Any examples would be great.
