Shimano Shimano PressFit HollowTech II Bottom Bracket for MTB 4.5 5 2 2

See how this one stacks up Trying the xtr bottom bracket instead of the xt one for a change. The xt one went well until I drowned it in a river crossing and seized the bearings. These bb cups are a pain to change but seem as good as any others. Oh for a bb that lasts longer than a year though! 15 November 2015

Working well so far My MTB has a carbon frame with an aluminium BB shell. It came with a Token (aluminium) press-fit BB which would creak after the bike got wet, no matter how many times I removed it and re-greased it. I even bought a replacement Token BB, but this started to creak after getting wet, too. I then consulted the bike supplier and they replaced the frame, saying the BB shell was slightly out of tolerance but, guess what, more creaking after it got wet! So finally I purchased this Shimano BB which has plastic sleeves instead of alloy - so far no creaking 10 August 2015

I did some reading and found out that the BB94 is actually of BB92 standard.

BB94 just refers to the Shimano part number and it is a "BB92" bottom bracket.

The bottom bracket is BB9441A. The Park Tool BB90 Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set will do the job!

Sadly I am unable to confirm what bottom bracket type you have. If you have a press fit system then this will be fine, otherwise a threaded option will be required. Please double check this before ordering.

will this shimano press fit replace my FSA BB30

I have a Boardman Pro MTB which has FSA Comet cranks and BB30 press fit bracket. I wish to upgrade to Shimano XT hollowtech 11 cranks and would like to confirm that this the correct bearing set to match and replace the current BB30?

I'm afraid that this is not a replacement for a BB30 bottom bracket I'm afraid. For your bike to fit a Shimano crank you can use either the Wheels Manufacturing BB30 to 24mm Crank Spindle Shims in your current BB30 bearings or you can fit the FSA BB30 Conversion Kit so you can then fit a standard threaded bottom bracket. I hope this helps.
