Description

Shimano has designed the rims with a 17C internal width that allows you to use wider tyres should you have specific ride characteristics that you prefer. These wheels can efficiently run tyre sizes between 700 x 25c to 700 x 38c. The wider tyres will provide greater comfort on longer rides whereas the narrow option provides complete rolling and highspeed performance.

bought rs170 front wheel. will it take normal QR axle?

Unfortunately this would not be suitable for a 100x9mm quick release. It is for 100x12mm E-Thru.

Is this rear wheel suitable for Shimano Claris 8 speed gears with disc brakes?
