Just about the only waterproof boot for flat pedal
Although this can take SPD I purchased for use with flat pedals. Have kept my feet warm and dry off-roading through the muddy winter

Another Excellent Shimano Boot
I bought these to replace my ancient MT90 boots that have finally worn out after 10+ years of weekly use/abuse. I have always found Shimano SPD shoes very comfortable straight out of the box, and these are no different.
In terms of sizing, it appears Shimano have returned to accurate sizing, as I'm a UK 9, and the 43 fits perfectly. The MT90's were also 43's, but I had to go up to a 45 on MW80 winter boots bought 4-5 years ago.

Usual SPD Caveat
Warm but with the usual poor insulation underneath if using SPD cleats. I covered the area with some old inner tube.
Also no cleats came with them.
Sizing reasonably predictable, went up a size to allow for big socks.

Overall an excellent lightweight boot for MTB use.
A great boot for cross country MTB use which is very well made and fits well. The boot is not at all heavy but offers great support and flexibility around the ankle whilst the sole is nice and stiff for cycling and walking. They appear to be waterproof too shedding water easily. The only con are the thin laces which, when they wear out, will be replaced with thicker ones. They work really well with my Shimano SPD XT pedals clicking in and out easily whilst locking really well into position.

A good choice with one issue
I like these boots a lot. They fit well and are easy to walk in. The issue is that the ankle portion doesn't fit close to the ankle. There is s large gap that needs to be closed with gaiters. Except for this issue I am very happy worth them.

Perfect.
Excellently made shoes. Rugged, comfortable, fairly warm and not too heavy. Waterproof and true to size. Unlike a lot of Shimano shoes these do not run small and neither are they too narrow.

Excellent quality - should last ages!
Replacing well worn pair of Cannondale MTB boots (used on milder days) as they've now fallen apart after 13 years+, so a lot to live up to!
Looked around for ages for boot type MTB footwear as they offer more protection than shoes and don't look so out of place when walking around. These fit the bill perfectly. Very well made boots and should hopefully be worth the money in the long run.
