The upper is made from a tough and durable material, designed to take on the inevitable knocks of off-road riding while still being supple enough for immediate comfort. The water-repellent finish lets you ride comfortably when weather conditions take a turn for the worse and it's eco-friendly too. A stiff heel cup then keeps your foot firmly in place, no matter how hard you're pedalling.
Getting the right fit is essential to mountain bike riding performance and here you'll find the Soft Instep Closure 4 system and Techno 3 dials create the perfect combination to get it just right. The Instep Closure 4 system features a wide, EVA thermo-formed padded strap which spreads pressure evenly over the instep for optimal comfort levels. Adjustment is then available on both sides of the foot to guarantee you can effortlessly dial in comfort and foot-hold to precisely how you like it, even on the trail. Meanwhile, the lower dial allows for precise adjustment across the toe box for the perfect fit every time you ride. No fuss. Just twist and go.
RS17 MTB Sole
The RS17 MTB Sole gives a stiff and stable pedalling platform through which you'll enjoy smooth and effortless power transfer as you speed along the trail. A dialled in amount of flex also make the sole comfortable over rougher terrain, soaking up the buzz from the trail, while also making walking easy too. If you are off the bike then the MTB specific tread provides sure-footed traction even on the muddiest of ground. Toe studs can also be added to boost grip and the replaceable toe tread gives the shoes increased lifespan.
Cleat Guidance
These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.

Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
