Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Piece Of Kit I've had my SPIbelt for months now and it's become part of my kit for every run. I've taken it on my weekly runs in the park, lunch runs with work, on the treadmill at the gym and on races too. My phone just sits snugly in the pouch and once it's adjusted correctly, I forget it's even there at all. Great if you're using something like Strava to track your runs or you want to listen to music.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent, not convinced by longevity Bought this specifically for a marathon and with some scepticism. I took a few runs to work out best way to wear it and found the max I was comfortable with was 4 gels in the loops and 2 in the zip up pocket. I'm a 30" waist and had it tightened to the max which just about held it tight without bounce. I'm not sure how slimmer people would find it. Frustratingly, one of the loops has become frayed after only a handful of uses however this is the cost of having them tight enough to securely hold a gel for 26 miles. Does the job, certainly easier than belts which only zip up but has limitations.

Q & A

SIS gels fit in this belt

i have no idea what size GU gels are, will other gels, say...SIS ones fit - as these are the ones i use?

I don't know about specific gels; I have used this with Hi5 (long & narrow) and Clif Bar (stubby & wide) gels and it holds both really well. The gel loops are very tight, so I thread the gel in halfway, then squeeze about half the gel thru the loop so that it goes into an hourglass sort of shape; stays put for miles.

One size doesn't fit all .... waist size please !?

Hi, Seen one of these on sale elsewhere with a stated waist size of 30" to 55". I need one to fit less then 30" waist. Don't want it bouncing around for 26.2miles !! Thanks.

Hi i can assure you that i dont have a 30inch waist...i am a small size 8, i wear it on my hips, never had any problems...i too was worried about that but its ok, you can always return it. My has not bounced around have done a few 35k using it and it was fine.....
