    Description

    The Hot Pack Easy Light Gilet is constructed from a remarkably lightweight fabric that is very easy to fold down and stow away in a jersey pocket - at just 63 grams in weight, you'll barely know it's there until you need it. The windproof and water repellent front and sides are paired with a mesh back panel, creating a gilet that balances weather protection with breathability so you feel protected but never too hot and too sweaty.

    The ergonomic cut of the vest ensures that it fits just right, with minimal excess fabric to drag and flap in the wind, leaving you with more energy during tough bike rides.

Easily Packs away in back pocket Bought this for 2019 Marmotte Gran Fondo after being advised that I would need something to stop wind chill and keep me warm on the long descents. It folds up in to its own square pouch and fits easily in to the back pocket of a cycling top and weighs next to nothing! After climbing up Glandon to the first feed station I pulled it out and put it on and immediately felt the effect of no wind chill to my torso which kept me warm. Descended down the other side keeping my body temperature nice and steady. Stopped at the bottom packed it away in a minute and carried on. I repeated the above on Galibier but this time added arm warmers and was very comfortable. I use it regularly in the UK after training sessions to stop me getting cold and it will be a part of my essential kit for Marmotte 2020 which should happen in September now.
