Which version are these for?

I have the oldest style sram are these the correct hoods? Or are they for the new style shifters

Tektro RL340

Will these hood fit a set of Tektro RL340?

No, SRAM specific, given the low cost of Tektro brakes, it might make more sense to replace the units when worn. At that price point they are unlikely to sell individual parts separately.

grip size

what size handlebar so these grips fit on and how long are the grips? I'm looking for new grips for a boardman hybrid 8.8 and I need to check that these are the right size

These do not fit onto handlebars. They will fit onto SRAM Apex, Rival, Force and Red (Gen 1) levers.

Do I need to remove the brake levers/shifters to fit these?

Have nearly finished recabling the bike (internal runs) when the rubber hood split on my Sram red 22 shifter. I want new ones, but do I have to undo all teh cables again to fit teh hood? or will the new hood fit over the front without the need to undo the cables and remove them all? Thanks

You can simply pull the old cover off and place this on the hoods without removing the lever or cables.
