It's a chain
A great bog standard chain for those of us who don't need to find that extra 0.001 second by spending a small fortune. The chain break is pretty hard work mind so gave up and used a tool. Hence 4 and not 5*

Great value, sturdy chain
There's very little to say about this chain - it's great value for money, feels pretty solid and lightweight at the same time and comes with the SRAM 'Quick Link' to fit it and I had no problems removing the extra links and thus fitting the chain. It comes pre-lubed and the lube is pretty decent as it is still there after a couple of wet rides.

Good quality product
Easy to fit, has special links so you don't need any tools to fit it (though you'll need a chain removal tool to remove the old one). Lasts 2-3 years on my commute bike which has a fairly high mileage.

Good chain for the price! Only ridden ~200 miles so can't comment on its durability, but no slipping so far and very easy to fit given the link.

8 speed chain for my 8 speed bike. About the best price online too.

Good reliable product
I find that the SRAM chain stretches less than others on the market and last longer before needing a change.

Good value, durable chain
A good quality chain that lasts well and shifts smoothly
02 May 2016
Easy to fit with the quick link and very quiet running. Can't comment on longevity, as I have only just fitted it.

Good solid parts
Good replacement chain for the original part. Looks to be lasting well after a couple of years riding.

NIce quality, lasted a year in all conditions
A great product, but haven't lasted as long as I expected. I used it for a year in all conditions, but haven't ridden more than 1500km or so. But happy with it..

Solid chain, nuff' said
Does the job well and at an affordable price. Used year round on my commuter (every day) it lasts about 12-15 months.

It's a chain
This is an amazing product. When I put pressure on the pedal, the chainring rotates and amazingly, the chain causes the rear wheel to rotate also! This movement propels me and my bicycle forwards. Without it, I doubt that bicycles would be nearly so popular. Highly recommended

Excellent Singlespeed MTB Chain
This has become my go to chain for singlespeed mountain biking. I I weight in at 85kg, ride a Kona Honzo and the chain has never let me down, even on the hardest days.
Fantastic value for money and the Sram Powerlink for me is the easiest to use.

Tried and Tested
I've never had a problem with these chains - I've fitted many and they work well, have a good life and are excellent value

Great chain, also works on a 9 speed
Not really much I can say about this chain, at the end of the day, it's a chain, I stuck it on my commuter when it was in desperate need of a new chain.
It does everything a chain should do and runs quietly. I would give it a five star rating if it weren't for the fact that it's just a chain and hasn't blown me away with any surprises.

Does what a chain should
Perfect. comes with the quick release link too. Easy to follow instructions to set the length correctly.

Does the job with versatility!
This chain works great with my hodge-podge setup: Campy Mirage derailleurs, Campy 8spd cassette, Shimano/Sugino road triple.

Good value chain
Bought this on the recommendation of another cyclist to replace an ancient and regularly breaking chain of a different (more expensive) brand. Pleased so far.
28 July 2015
strong like Ox
Cheap cheerful chain that you can rely on. No need for those stupid pins that Shimano use.
26 July 2015
Good value product
Usually buy a few chains when sale is on so I can change regularly to lessen wear on the cassette and chain ring. Found these chains to wear well and very easy to fit.
22 May 2015
Bought for rebuilding a friend's trike with 6 speed, works fine.
16 May 2015
Best value available and good as any other
I only give 5 stars if it's better than expected. this is everything I expected it to be, at a good price and would buy again - will buy again when it wears out.
16 May 2015
Prefer these over the Shimano equivalent because of the "power link".
14 May 2015
Great cheap chain
Excellent chain at a great price - Easily opend and closed with a morotbike style fixing so you can use in 6 month rotation and keep your cassettes etc working better for longer

Value for money
Bought this to use on my commuting bike and its does everything I need. Easy to fit and at a good price. If performance and weight savings are your thing, this might not be for you, but if you want a reliable product for a good price - look no further.

A very good chain and very easy to fit no need for tools even when releasing the chain later if you needed to. Only downside is its very heavy
16 January 2015
Ideal chain for my MTB
This is a good quality chain and easy to fit. I have bought this type of chain previously for other bikes which have done hundreds of miles without any problems.

works like a chan
good chain. affordable. simple to fit powerlink fine

Yes there is you have it in your hand . All you need is the link removal tool, and some practice on an old chain, and you'll be fixed to set any chain to the right length, and work on any chain even when the magic link is jammed - ( ie the bike has been ridden)

You'll need to shorten the chain. Almost everyone does. I have to chop 6 to 8 links out of new chains (depending upon the brand) to fit my 8-speed mountain bike.
You need a cheap chain splitting tool to separate the unwanted links, but joining it back together on the bike is easy with the special split link.
There is also a method of splitting the chain without the specific tool. A quick search on YouTube should sort you out with the method. Just remember to 'measure twice - cut once' when you remove the pin and the unwanted links.
works on my shimano gear, but forget "easy" removal once you've given it some welly. buy a proper removal tool. You'll need it to get the length right anyway. Practice on an old bit of chain till you can do it in the rain / snow/ dark / hard shoulder when you've got onto the motorway by mistake..... :-)

I believe it is compatible - I have fitted it to my bike with shimano gears and all seems well. Although there are power links to connect the chain, as far as I know (and I tried having fitted the chain incorrectly first time) you can't disconnect them i.e. it isn't easily removable.
