Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to fit and tune to changers The cassette is well built and has a much wider gear range than the one being replaced. This makes the chain a bit tight or slack if you use the wrong (extreme) gears and chainrings. I took out a link or two to reduce the slack!

It replaced the 11-28 on my Scott Speedster 60, it works almost flawlessly on the shore cage Tourney rear derailleur - slight rub on the 26t cog. But it enabled me to climb some 12% hills that where nearly impossible before, really chuffed!

How many teeth are on each gear

I was wondering if you could give me the number of teeth on each gear so that I can get the gear ratio's figured out for setup on my bike.

Compatibility to Shimano 600 Freehub

My Freehub is FH 6207 Shimano 600, uniglide 6 speed, 126mm. I would like to upgrade to 7 speed (as already have 7 speed shifters) - would this fit, or do you stock another one that does?

I can confirm that this will not be compatible with your freehub as your wheels are not compatible with a seven speed cassette. I apologise we cannot be of help in this case.

No it is 3/32" which is too wide. You need a 11/128" chain AKA ten Speed chain.

Compatible with a Shimano MegaRange derailleur?

I have a Shimano MegaRange derailleur with the Shimano MegaRange 7 speed freewheel (14-34 teeth). The wheel and freewheel need replacing and was wondering if this cassette would be compatible with the Shimano Megarange derailleur? For completeness I have 7 speed indexed shifters if that makes any difference?

Shimano and sram cassettes are interchangeable and so this would work fine with a shimano 7 speed derailleur and chain.

I purchased one from somewhere else but it's 300g. If yours is lighter I'll return it and buy your one!!!

Can I use the SRAM PG730 7 speed cassette to replace the Shimano HG30 7 Speed, without changing the derailleur?

I have a tandem which I want to improve for hill climbing. I was looking for a megatrain 34T cassette but these only appear to come in 8 speed. Unfortunately I only have a setup for 7 speed at the moment and wanted the lowest possible cost for the upgrade. Can you advise on the best options?
