it does what is says
Over priced piece of aluminum. It has both presta and schrader core remover, but could be cheaper for what it does.

reliable
This product is very simple, but does its job very well, so it is very convenient .

Great investment
I never knew if could be so easy to remove the valve core and put 'no-tubes' into the tire, without having to get the tire off. It made the whole process quick, easy and clean. A great little investment!

Does what it says on the tin
Do you need to extract a valve core? Do you want to do it easily, quickly, and not mash up the care with pliers? Then this is just the job. Seems ludicrously simple, and it is. It takes the cores out of Presta and Schreader valves, and tightens them back up again.
Simple, cheap, recommended.

Is it necessary?
Well made quality tool for removing the valve on Stan's Presta stems - to allow the injecting of liquid tyre sealant.
I got this as I was being swept along with all the Stan's marketing - and found that it works perfectly.
However, I found it just as easy to pour the liquid into the tyre as it was being assembled/mounted... rendering this little item 'unneccessary' - at least during initial assembly.
It may prove useful in the months ahead if new liquid needs to be added (apparently it does dry out...) without the need to crack the bead of the tyre.
High quality anodised aluminium tool.

A must to fit No Tubes to ordinary rims
I didn't realise the core of Presta valves could be removed, but to seat the tyre on the rim without a tube, removing the core is essential. This makes it dead simple. And it is one of those shiny tools that fits in a pack easily. Buy one.

Makes life easy whenever removing those small little tight valves.

add sealant
the stans valve core remover dose exactly what its ment to do, and makes it easy to add sealant to tubless tyres without breaking the seal.

Great tool for removing valve cores large enough to grip

Really useful
Really handy item, makes removing those cores dead easy. A must for any tubeless devotees.

A simple tool that does its job perfectly
If you ever tried using the small plastic tool that comes with Vittoria or Continental valve extenders, you will know that there must be a better way to remove that valve core. Here comes the No Tubes Core Remover to the rescue: simple and perfect for the job.

No Tubes Core Remover
Great little contraption. Works like a dream and chance of damaging the valve core. Will be carrying it in my saddle bag.

fusion3 tubeless
These went on my stans 340 rims without any problems and sealed imediately with a floor pump. So far they ride nicely, but the real test will come with more time.

Don't bother with the plastic alternative
I've tolerated the cheap plastic core remover for some time now but it rounded off one time too many so I ended up buying this.
Well worth the extra cash. No slippage and removed the valve core with ease.
Would recommend to anyone who changes tyres regularly.
Especially good if using a lezyne pump which uses a screw on end. When removing the pump I've had the valve core come out a few times releasing all of the air. This was down to not having the valve core tight enough when using a plastic core remover. I now have no trouble as I can tighten effectively.

Better than plastic alternatives seem expensive for a small piece of petal though

Does what it says.
This little tool did my removable presta valve cores up nice and tight. It also does schrader if your that way inclined.

Excellent
Works flawlessly. Big enough to use, small enough to reduce the chance of over tightening and fits nicely into a small tools pack - no need for a small shifter anymore :)

Stans core remover
Much easier than a small adjustable spanner between the spokes. Remember to hold the valve thread firm which keeps the valve position through the rim so that you can easily undo and tighten the remover with your other thumb. Very light so ideal to keep in you trail bag. Couple this will some cnc metal valve caps and your away. Nice work.

Good value
Excellent construction and very easy to use. Kurled for a good grip. Works on both type of valves. Will not round off on the pista drive side like plastic core removers. Easy to find in the toolbox, patch kit, and when dropped on the side of the road..

core remover
easy to use . irreplaçable item when more liquid is needed in an easy manouver
21 February 2010
Such a simple and useful item. Also works for MAVIC tubeless valves which have the same removable core as Stans. Cheap and useful to have just in case even if you never need it.
21 October 2009
Does what it does
It does what it suppose to do. Was able to extract the Presta valve core from my Mavic SLR wheel. Still can't figure out how remove the core with the Schrader valve adapter fitted. Maybe it can't wokr with Mavic's wheels. Perhaps some instruction is needed.

Do yoursef a favour
It has one important job to do and it does it very effectively. It costs about GBP5. Why wouldn't you?
Fiddling around with 2 spanners and potentially damaging your valve is just not worth it.

O.k. This is something to use if you are into tubeless. To be honest, you could live without it, especially if you are using presta rimstrips, as you can easily remove the core with a pliers. But for only 5 quids its a nice tool to have.

no tubes core remover
does what is says. a little expensive for what it is, works fine though
26 July 2009
Does the job
Bit expensive for what it is but does the job it says it does.
13 July 2009
Does what it says - and much easier to use than a spanner or pair of pliers.

Must have tubeless tool
This great little tool makes going tubless easy.
1Just fit the tyre and tube in the normal way blow uo to 50 psi to seat the tyre, then deflate & remove the tube.
2Fix in the no tubes valve and remove the core using the little tool.
3Then pump like merry with the track pump to again reseat the tyre.
4Pour in some Stans sealant , refit the core and reinflate.
5Shake to aid the stans fluid to seal. You may need to repeat 4 if an old tyre. (I, just sucessfully sealed a 4 year old Ralph).
You have just saved yourself 150 grams per wheel and less trailside punctures.
Enjoy the ride

handy, bit pricey
Its a good well made tool. It should come free with stans rims though given their price.
It makes it a lot less hassle to remove both types of valve core and I am glad I have the tool as messing about with pliars is a pain in the bum.
