Say goodbye to pinch flats!
This has worked well from day 1. Easy to fit to a basic Mavic rim. UST tyre sealed on the first attempt and hasn't leaked. Now running lower pressures without risk of getting flats.

No going back....
Where I live in Northern Queensland, we have these brutal little tyre killers called goats heads, a round seed with three hard thorns sticking out. After eleven punctures in a week, I decided to go tubeless and went the way of the No Tubes Rim Strip. I will NEVER EVER go back to inner tubes. A couple of months ago, I was out riding in the dust for a couple of hours and picked out 35 of these goatsheads embedded in my tyres. Pulled them out, spun the wheels, no drama. Easy to fit and works like a dream - tubeless tyres should be made law.

Great upgrade
Love this stuff it's a must have for all mountain bikers.

Didn't work
Bulge around the valve fixture prevented my tyres blowing out to the rim. An afternoon of frustration.
Went back to gaffer tape and a standard tubeless valve and the tyre went up OK, and still fine weeks later.
Avoid.

Very easy to use
Great product to convert your mountain bike to tubeless. You don't have to mess around with a separate valve and tape. Converted my 2 tyres to tubeless in 15 minutes

Quality issues but a good system
I had to buy this new Stans rim strip as the original 2 that I had with the kit have both failed after a few months use - the valve stem broke away at the base & would no longer hold air. This one is holding together so far ok, but I'll be looking to another brand if this one also fails. Pity, as the Stans system works great with non-ust rims & tyres, although some tyres can be impossible to seal up. Notably Maxxis Larsen TT's.

Works if you follow the instructions
As the title says, these strips do what they say. Some tyres are easier to fit than others though.

Works as supposed
Converted Easton XCone to tubeless with these strips and Conti SpeedKing SuperSonic tires - the rimstrips seems to work as they should, but alltogeather the tires don't hold pressure. Can't understand what is the problem (the rim tape, rimstrips, tires or myself).

Excellent product but
This i an excellent product and took me 5 minutes to fit this and a tyre. I've struggled before with a floor pumpt so now have a compressor which I think is necessary for the first fitting of the tyre. It didn't quite make 5 stars as this purchase was a replacement for the other that failed at the valve after 9 months. This may have been due to burping it a few times due to a combination of inappropriate front tyre / too low pressure / to vigorous riding - meaning a lot more pumpi9ng on the trail than normal.

Does what it says on the tin
Great for converting standard rims to tubeless. Make sure you follow instructions on Stans website to make life a lot easier than just ripping straight into it. Watch the video's too...I've converted 4 wheels and no problems.

awful quality - broke
The rubber broke between the rim strip and the valve so this didn't hold air and I had to return.
I got a DT Swiss replacement which works just fine.
Strongly recommend not buying this!

No Tubes made easy
This is the best system for converting normal rims,to tubeless.

Not much chop
A bit of a hit an miss type of product. It works great with some rim/tyre combo's and others are a real bugger. I've had better luck cutting a standard 20" tube to size. One UST tyre was extremely hard to fit and I destroyed the rim strip. Another went straight on without a problem. Heavy and very soft. I now use DT Swiss rim strips (more money but works well).
When they're on they work flawlessly but are still as heavy as a tube.

Used these with DT4.1 rims (you'll need rim tape) and Maxxis LUST tyres. They work fine and keep the air on the inside.

rim strip baby
part of the no tubes system a brilliant bit of kit to help avoid punctures becoming a problem
yesterday i found a nail in my tyre i must have been riding like that for ages
magic!!!!

Expensive but worth it
These rim strips are the way to go, they work well are so much less hassle than trying to trim down inner tubes heaps thicker than a inner tube and the valve is replaceable, they are however rather expensive for what they are

essential for tubeless conversions
Okay, I'd recommend these because they're required to convert non-tubeless rims to a tubeless setup. They are absurdly expensive for what they are though - still, seems more secure than cutting a tube in half for a home-made version.
