Poor Quality
Sorry but I could not get on with this sprocket on my track bike. The teeth were too long and caught on the chain resulting in a very lumpy ride. After swapping to Dura Ace Sprocket the ride was silky smooth.

Good Gear
I went for the 13T which might be a bit much for a city ride but the gear itself is fine. Been using it for 4 months and no problems!

This sprocket is SILVER
Gven how long these sprockets last, you just can't beat 'em. The 8 different sprockets that I own have been used on commuter fixie and MTB XC single speed The only one that has properly worn out is the 13T sprocket I had on my XC bike whie using it as a commuter in Doha and Beijing.
Highly recommended.

Top quality product
I have fitted a 16t and 17t version of this sprocket onto my Dura Ace flip flop hub for use on a single speed/fixed wheel. I have not given them a lot of use yet but I am very confident that they will perform faultlessly. They were not the cheapest on offer but the quality of workmanship is excellent and they look goodI I think that they are very good value for money.

good quality track cog
Its a substantial lump of steel and once installed on your hub with a good lockring should last for for years. All of Surly's stuff is a bit expensive compared with some of the other options but so far I can't criticise the quality. Its worthwhile using steel components as they are so hard wearing.

durable and practical
Please note image used is not what you get. it is solid; does not have the smaller holes circumferencing.
Hence alittle disappointed when received.
practially it works fine and as it should.

Lightweight Cog
Goes on easy, is very lightweight compared to other cogs I've used & is very straight.

Surly one of the best looking pieces on my bike (pun intended)
Fantastic piece of kit. feels strong and is lightweight. and looks the goods. A winner for any fixie project.
Coupled with the Surly lock ring My drive train is in good hands.

Good quality
I was looking for a smaller sprocket as I am sick of spinning like a loon on my commute. For the life of me could not find any small sprockets (less than 16t) in any LBS), so I took a chance on this. Good quality, I got the 13t, I took of a star on performance purely because I haven't had it that long so i couldn't guarantee it but it's going well so far. Reasonable value too but i can't help but think manufacturers make these for alot less.

A great looking, hard wearing, good value for money track cog.

Solid Surly... Value for money and tough for a sprocket.

Good sprockets are important
A bad sprocket can easily destroy the threads on your hub, ruining the wheel. They are not the place to try to save money!
The Surly ones are great quality, and come in both 1/8" and 3/32" sizes, so are particularly good for fixed gear road bike conversions that use a 3/32" chainring.
If you're using 1/8" then Shimano Dura-Ace are another good option.
