I am a commuter the rides on average 5000 miles per year and was looking for improved braking particularly in the wet. I actually found the performance worse in both wet and dry conditions with my usual Shimano 105 pads.

2 pads or 4 pads?

Description states 'sold in 2 pairs'. Does this mean there are 4 pads in this pack?

There are four pads per pack so you can change over both front and rear brakes. They also come with new screws.

how many kilometers should you expect to get out of these ? if cycling in both the dry and the wet

I've done over 3000 miles on mine in all conditions, just about worn out now. They are brilliant. Best cost/performance ratio upgrade to the bike.

Have I been sent the wrong brake pads?

Just bough the flash pro green high performance pads from wiggle, but the ones that have been delivered are black and look identical to the black brake compound version, also for sale on wiggle. What's puzzling is that the box says GHP II (in green) high performance but the actual pads inside don't match the description, they're black. I've bought them before and they've been green, has swiss stop changed the colour or have I got a mixed up batch that's been delivered to me?

Yes these pads will fit your 105 calipers. The black compound pad is a less aggressive pad which won't give you as great performance as the green pad, but is less harsh on your rims so is good for softer alloy rims. The green pad is pure race and is ideal for all weather.

Do these fit FSA Gossamer calipers (Reparto Corse).

There seem to be two contradictory answers to this question by wiggle staff. one says yes the other says no. which is it?

Yes they fit FSA Gossamer or any Shimano type brake . I fitted them to my Bianchi Sempre with no problems
