expensive
Perfectly functional but very very expensive for what it is.
Used to use cheaper rings but they have become in very short supply in sizes bigger than 60 tooth.
So stuck with ta.
It works but they don't last twice as long as ones half the price

1000 hours and good as new
I bought a 61T for high-speed high power work indoors, trying to get the feeling of a velodrome with great success. This is the only chainring on my rollers bike and I've just hit 1000 hours on it, probably averaging around 300-340 watts for about 900 of those hours over the past couple of years since I installed it.
After cleaning it, I have noticed barely any wear at all. I have it sat next to another unused one and they look almost the same.

Chain issues
Buy 2 chains and double link - you need about 125-130 links. Also take care adjusting the front dérailleur so as not to clip the teeth.
Finally a chainring that is big enough to be comfortable at 30mph!

TA Alize Chainrings
I've rode on TA Speciality chainrings for decades. Quality and design is stellar and size selection is second to none. Wiggle UK is a fine outfit to purchase from, and for many items their prices beat any of our resellers here in the States.

Huge...
Grabbed this to put on a road going folder.
Massive difference. Sadly, I got some calculations wrong and I get chain rub, even moving it to the inner ring position. My fault though, not TA's.
Still using the ring - it's lightweight, well machined and appears to be fairly durable.
Apart from me getting the size wrong this ring is amazing. Going to get hold of a capreo hub/cassette and get a 57 or 58 ring from TA, same as this one just smaller, to match...hopefully this time that fixes the rub...
