Solid, quality seatpost
Thomson seatposts are popular for good reason. They are well made with a hard wearing finish. Easy to adjust and available in a range of diameters, lengths and layback. Spares are available but I have not needed any - I have Thomson posts on all my bikes.

Great design
Thought my last seatpost was fine until it sheared across the seat clamp, sharp metal cut my leg but could have been a lot worse! Appreciate the design of the clamp on this post and looks a lot more sturdy.

Solid, light performer
By most accounts, Thomson is the best post out there and in the two months I have been riding on this one, I will not object. I seriously considered getting a carbon post but the consequences of a part failure were not at all appealing! As recommended in the directions, I had it expertly installed and it has not budged from its position since it was installed. I did many hours of research before buying since a good post is essential to a comfortable ride, and I am pleased to say it paid off.

Rolls-Royce of Seatposts
If you're after the best seat post money can buy look no further. This thing is the bomb. Simple, strong, light and stylish, just simply superb engineering. The in-line version seems better suited for bikes with slacker angled seat tubes but just screams strength and would give a lot of peace of mind to heavier riders or downhillers. The ovalized cross section of the tubing gives the seat post its extra strength without added weight. Its not a new design and the tilt adjustment can be a bit fiddly but its a design that works. Period.
No surprise how many pros use these things.

High quality, easily adjusted
This seatpost is pretty easy to fit and is easily adjusted. Lets face it, your saddle is one of the most important parts on your bike and if it's not set up properly, you're gonna be in pain! Once you've got the correct saddle beneath you, the angle is the next thing you need to sort out. The angle markers on this post make fine tuning your position a doddle, so you can be riding in bliss, sooner rather than later! The quality is high, there are no sharp edges and the gloss finish is awesome. It is strong yet light and looks good on the bike... especially with the matching stem!

Lighter than most carbon posts, and ++ safer
This stick is stiff and light - lighter than my 06 carbon campag chorus- the one with the pinch fracture at the back causing the purchase. I weigh 163lbs and ride aggressively around the challenging tracks (read: poorly maintained roads) around North Glasgow. Had to arrive at a more durable alternative. Thought about the USE Alien for a while, but the clamp is a weakspot and prone to stress fractures - friend cracked his the other day. The design of the Thomson is it's strength- it's not a multitude of pieces stuck together. Also, the fact that it is inline gives more play with getting foward- good for TTs & breakaways. Highly recommended.

Thomson seat post
A timeless classic that does not follow the fashions. Produced with a CNC machining is perfect both aesthetically and technically. Closing with two screws that allow adjustment millimeter. One word: the best

Beautiful, Functional, Reputable
I have Thomson seatposts on almost all of my bikes. I first heard of them via online recommendations, and bought my first one only to find out how accurate the positive reviews I had read were. The double bolt design helps keep it in place. The slight texture on the post keeps it from slipping. The lightweight quality of the metal is extraordinary. All that, and it looks classy to boot. And the variety of sizes/lengths makes them easy to find for almost any bike. Overall, highly recommended product! The shipping from Wiggle to the US is also super reliable, and fast! I've had nothing but good communications and experiences with them, on my orders.

One of the strongest seatpost tested !!
Great seatpost as I'm more interested in strength than than weight . Easy to adjust with the two bolt system and numerical gauge . And this was the best price on any continent as I live in the States .... Thanks

Excellent
Lightweight and good looking, but most importantly works really well. Best clamping mechanism I've used.

Great quality
Nice light weight and quality product even arrived with its own bag not sure that I would ever use the bag though.

Not as adjustable as you may think
I like my saddle to be level. I thought that using this seat post would be ideal, but I was wrong.
For me to get the saddle even close to level was impossible as the adjustment required is just not readily available. For me personally, the rear threaded bolt was to short and the post needed further front adjustment to be available.

Great Seat Post
Comparing weight and quality along with adjustability there isn't another seat post that comes close to the Thomson Elite. Great product.

Lightweight & high quality
Straight away you can tell that the seat post is high quality. Lighter than similar priced carbon seat posts. Double bold seat clamp. Does what it should do and looks minimalistic.

Top quality
I have thomson seatposts on my 2 road and a cx bike. Unsurpassed quality and finish. Super lightweight. Highly recommended.

Top Quality
Top Quality 'seat angle adjustable' solid seatpost.
As the post is not smooth metal, but has miniscule rings all the way around, it does not leave or susceptible to scratch marks from using different heights.
This is my second Thomson post, as i also have a 27.2 for another bike which is of a much thicker material internally, whilst this 31.6 is thinner internally.

Thomson seatposts are great
Thomson seat posts work and are built to last but still light. And they stand by their products. Had one on my mountain bike for 10 years and the head broke. They replaced it at no charge. They're the best.

The best post out there!
I've had a few of these over the years and they have always proved to be high quality posts with a sensible weight. Yes there are fine carbon posts but these get easily marked and break. I haven't broken a Thomson post yet. Can highly recommend it!

Great seat post, superb quality
Bought this for a Pinarello Prince, works a treat and matches the bike.

Attractive, battle-tested, solid seatpost.
This is going on my hardtail GT Avalanche X MTB. It's from a super reputable brand, has a solid warranty and customer support process and, obviously, it's a good product. The finish on the metal is not cheap at all and doesn't get scuffed nearly as easily as other posts might. It's pretty light-weight for being made out of thicker aluminum but my biggest positive about the post is that it has well-made, effective bolts holding the saddle on.

Very light & strong alu seat post!
I needed a new seat post, as I had managed to snap / crack to boardman carbon seat posts on my new Boardman SLS (a whole different story). I decided that although Boardman kept replacing the posts, I wanted to return to something that was going to do the job properly. Having done a lot of research i settled on the Thomson Elite seat post. I was drawn to it by Thomson's statements of performance and the great reviews it has received. It is excellent! It is light but more importantly very strong. I have just completed the London to Paris in 3 days, and not once did I have an issue, the post remained in position within my carbon frame and carbon clamp (I use carbon paste), and whilst aluminium does not flex like carbon (some would argue less comfortable), it is that flex that leads to the carbon seat posts fracturing and failing - so I for one will now not use any other seat post on my bikes.

Allowed me to get KOPS
Allowed me to get KOPS on traditional geometry road bike. Seems really good quality and light for what it is.
