    Description

    This saddle bag enables you to carry riding essentials beneath your saddle and if travelling light, it removes the need to carry a backpack. You can travel light while your 'cargo' is mounted at a lower centre of gravity so as to not affect your riding performance. For added safety, it features a reflective strip on the rear and is equipped with a webbed loop for attaching a cycling light should you happen to be riding after sunset.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Personally don't like carrying "everything", that I might need on a ride in my pockets. Multi-tools and inner tubes etc. This is the perfect size to carry pretty much everything you'd require. Probably enough spare room for gels/bars if you so choose.

I can get a spare tube, tyre levers, micro-pump,CO2 inflator, gloves, mini-multi-tool in mine (at a squeeze). Excellent quality, easy to fit & remove, with a strap for rear light & reflector on the back. Excellent product at a great price

    Pump

    I have this bag, I'm new back in the saddle after a couple of years and I'm asking anyone here the following: I have a spare inner tube and repair kit, should I be using a small mini pump or the CO2 canisters? Any advice welcome.

    Hi, From experience if I get a puncture I use the canisters as a means to get home (as it only lasts a couple of hours before a refil is required), but if I was to continue to ride then I would use a pump to re-inflate. Once home you must deflate all the CO2 from that tyre and to then re-inflate it with a simple pump (stand/hand) as the CO2 will dissipate through the rubber in your tube, thus having to re-inflate your tube anyway for the next ride. So it’s up to you if you want to carry a pump or canisters - remembering that canisters come in different sizes, so just check which ones you require and a control valve for the canister is recommended (this I learnt from my own experience without a control valve).     Does this leave enough Seatpost underneath to fit a rear light?

    Yes I know it depends how much seatpost sticks out of the frame but I have LEzyne ZEcto rear and it only needs a little space as it clips on with a rubber strap.

    The small bag is fairly small with a depth of 4.5" so, as you mentioned, this all depends on the amount of room you have on your seat post.

    Micro Rocket Pump

    Hi, can I fit the Topeak micro rocket pump inside this saddle bag along with spare inner tube, multi-tool, tyre levers, tire patches?

    Dont know im afraid I use gas for my tires as it saves space. I carry 3 cartridges a tube levers and repair stuff. I believe the pump comes with wage mount. Possibly better to save the space for essentials. Hope that helps pal

    Although the exact fit will depend upon the size of the tubular in question, it's unlikely that the small size option would be suitable in this case. You may need to opt for the medium or large sizes.
