Topeak Topeak Aero Wedge (Clip On) Medium Saddle Bag
small for its size
It's a decent bit of kit - easy to attach, but isn't as big as expected - only just fits a tyre-change kit and lights. Just. there isn't a clip on the back to attach lights to either, which is a shame.

The topeak bag fits tight to the saddle tappered for your thighs. It looks the part with a clip release that is exceptional. All the stuff you need to carry, tubes ,leavers, even the mobile. A great looking superb all rounder.

topeak aero wedge
The best thing about this bag is you dont know it's there when you're out there. It's solid clip on platform makes it solid and it's got room for 2 27x28 tubes, tyre levers, multi tool, and money for cake stop! Not 100% waterproof but better than most of the dross out there so highly recommended - buy one!

Great storage space
I have found this had more storage than it looks, and in poor weather the the bag kept all the items inside nice and dry.

Excellent expandable zip to increase the capacity. Easy to clip on & off

Great product that lasts well
Had this saddle bag a while now and so far it's been great. Has enough room for a spare tube, multi tool, my phone, keys, tyre levers and enough room for some spare cash.

It holds a lot
Its much bigger than the description, I have fitted in 3, tubes. 2 CO2 cylinders, 4 tyre leavers , CO2 Head and that is without extending it. !!! Its a bit of a tardis, the fitting was easy and it is solid. Only down side is that you cannot have your rear light on the seat post as the bag fits snugly there, so if you have an old Cateye its time for a new one!!
If your riding is solo and you need the protection of the extra tube its a good product it looks OK as well

multi tool, spare tube, tyre levers, mini pump, 2 gels, a flapjack all fit in when extended. there is a net pocket in the 'lid' for cash and house key. so all I need for emergencies on a long ride (take more food in my jersey pockets). it fits well with no swinging and is quick and easy to put on/ take off if needed.

Nice bag, big mouth.
Bag seems sturdy, adjustable, expandable. Mouth of the bag (door) seems big. Does the job.

A bag that works !
Having returned 2 Top Peak Aero with straps because the straps come away at the stitching, I switched to the clip on version. So much neater, easier to use and no straps to break. Go for the clip on, it works !

Sleek and roomy
Bought this for a brand new road bike. Great compromise between size and aerodynamics. Good for two inners, mini-tool, cafe lock, cafe cash, tyre levers.

I was looking for a saddle bag for my MTB. I wanted to avoid any bag attached with velcros.
This bag is clip on, so it will not come off that easily. The clip on tab is fixed to the seat railings with screws.
The bag is guite roomy, enough space for multi-tool, spare tube, levers, etc.
And you can always expand it a bit more.

Good for essentials
I keep tools etc in a cylinder in one of the bottle racks, so the Topeak Aero Wedge is used for journey essentials - money, keys etc. It holds a fair aamount, including a glasses case and a very light waterproof jacket. The only problem I've had is when I came to fit a light on the bike because the Aero Wedge used up all the space on the seat post, and I had to be inventive with a side reflector fitting.
Having said that, the Aero Wedge is waterproof, firmly fixed, and holds everything securely although it obviously doesn't lock. It shows no signs of degrading in the light, and the stitching is still good after eight months.

Great Size Bag, Well Made
Found this bag to be large enough to carry everything I need, spare tubes, tools, tyre levers, even a few plasters and still space for last minute things. Yet not to big to look ridiculous plus real easy to fit, and remove when necessary.
15 February 2016
Good wedge shape to fit under the saddle, however difficult to unzip and recipes due to resting point of the zip and type of zipper

Love this saddle bag.
Fits all I need and it is a good quality bag. It can be made bigger or smaller which is a good feature.

Good bag, if in doubt go for the large size
I went for the medium rather than the large as I was worried about having an unsightly bag. The medium is very discrete and as I like to carry 3 inner tubes, it's a struggle to get them in - unless they are brand new and wrapped up tightly.
This was clearly my fault more than the product and hopefully this review will help others avoid my mistake

Had one of these on another bike. That bike was stolen along with the bag and all the stuff in it. Bought a new bike. Bought a new bag. I really like this bag after using it over two years. Pops off and on easily to carry your money and ID in to the coffee shop. Is big enough to carry a spare tube, CO2, tools and a cell phone.

Excellent, roomy saddlebag
I like topeak anyway, and my winter bike had a smaller version of this one, so my choice was already made, however a review of saddlebags in a cycle mag reinforced my decision (i knew i was right all along!) and i bought this one.
I have loaded it up with a topeak multitool, 2 innertubes, repair kit, energy bars and it still has room, possibly could have done with the smaller size, as this one is quite bulky and sticks out the back of the saddle. It also tends to drop down the seat post, so can get a bit in the way of clipping your lights on, i've over come this with a trywrap to act as an anchoring point.
In use its easy to get into, its waterproof, though not had to test that too much as its on my summer bike.

Big enough for my iPhone
this is a great saddle bag as it is big enough for the new phones and still have room for more. Good secure strap but quick and easy to remove on the cafe stop. Would defiantly recommend.

Good bag that sits firmly attached to your bike
I really like this bag. The Clip on system is the best feature of the bag. It doesnt rattle that much as other saddlebags.
If you buy more clips it can easily be moved between different bikes.
It holds my arm sleves, vest, multitool and pump.

In-between touring and training
3 tubes. 1 small cafe stop bike lock. CO2 inflator. Puncture patches. Toppeak bike tool. Spare contact lenses. 2 tyre levers. My old one lasted for many miles over 6 years.

This product is perfect size
Perfect size to keep spare tools and phone in when out. Fabric durable and hard wearing. clip on and off so easy to remove if stop to visit somewhere.

good value , good quality.
Very durable saddle bag from Topeak.
I've got a small size for my other bike, thought was too small to carry a spare tube and some essential tool. so i bought this one. while it is a little bit bigger that i thought. but it can carry lots of stuffs.

Just what I was looking for
I already have one of these in the small size, but needed a larger version for carry spares for the sportives . This does the job perfectly , and I can fit may phone and car keys in without any problems. It can also be easily removed if needed .

Great amount of space
Good, easy to mount under the saddle and has loads of space for 2 tubes, tyre levers and gas.
20 August 2015
These are very good
Already have the medium size of this bag which is really good but wasn't quite big enough to carry a water proof jacket so got a larger one. With the clip on fitting it's easy to switch between the two. The quality is very good.

Well Made and Looks Good.
Big enough to hold a spare inner tube and small multi tool kit, plus put my keys inside. Also fitted a rear light to the place provided near reflective strip. Almost forgot there's a zip you can undo to make the bag larger if needed, used once to put a mars bar inside bag
I can't fault this bag, the only way they could improve it is they could offer it in different colors to match your bike maybe?
08 July 2015
Very good saddle bag big enough for a tube and all your bits and space to squeeze a few bits more too.
06 July 2015
Great size to store tools, spare tube, phone and wallet!

I have bought tnis product some time ago but i have not managed yet to mount it on my MTB. I have a Ghost SE 5000 with Ghost 2055 saddle. As it could not mount it i bought an F33 Topeak braket but still it was not good. Does anybody have any idea that might help?

In this case, perhaps the Topeak Aero Wedge (Buckle) Medium Saddle Bag would be a better option. Using a buckle passed through the rail rather than a clip system make the pack much more universal in fit.
Depends on the mounting bracket for that light. I've got a fairly cheap rear light on my mtb that fixes to the wedge using a plastic screw / rachet (see oic). had to mount the light vertically but that doesn't matter.

I can confirm that this should fit straight onto a SMP saddle but if it does not you can adapt it using either the Topeak Fixer F25 Bracket for Saddle Wedge Bags or the Topeak Fixer F11 Bracket for Saddle Wedge Bags depending on how much clearance you have under your saddle. I hope this helps.

Just, with the zip extension open, and it's a really tight squeeze. I got a Vittoria CX Evo 700C 23mm tub in there with a box cutter, co2 canister, adapter and 2 allen keys. Youtube how to fold a preglued tubular and then use clingwrap (kitchen kind) to make sure it doesn't chafe inside the bag. The loops for holding the pump are also good for holding a can of Pit Stop (compressed latex caniser).

I do not think you will get the lock into the saddle bag due to the narrowing shape of the bag as it reaches the seat post. The weight of the lock is likely going to cause issues with the bracket also.
