Flash Work-stand Won't Work on all bikesNicely designed but really only useful if you have the old-fashioned tube-based frames. This fits only 2/8 bikes we have and so I bought a Park Tools bike stand instead.

Portable standBeing a portable stand, it's nice and compact, and light.
Unfortunately the bike will move, and fall over if you're heavy handed. But the product will allow you to get the job done when in the field, with a bit of extra patience.
If you're looking for something for home use you would be better off buying a larger more permanent and sturdy stand (from Wiggle of course!)

It's worth every cent. Period.I had the chance to borrow one from a friend for a week and noticed that it just does what it's supposed to. Brought it to work one day and I found it absolutely convenient because of its weight and portability. So there goes my reason for buying one. Satisfied customer here. Surely, I will be a repeat customer.
Is this stand suitable to hold a bike whilst cleaning?
Asked by: bbbb1234
You can use it while cleaning, but the bike will wobble about a bit, and it connects under the bottom bracket which prevents cleaning in that area.

Can i use this on a 29er (Cube LTD 29 2014)?
Asked by: Ciezo
It works on most bikes. I have used it on my Cube LTD CC 29. It's not a proper workstand, but it's handy for minor maintenance - like lubing the chain.

Would this stand be suitable for storing my bike on whilst in a holiday apartment? (Owner doesn't want marks on the walls!)
Asked by: Clayton
Yes, but its floor mounted. So no marks on the walls. But your bike will take up space.

Is this stand suitable as a long-term bike storage?
Asked by: OzJack
Not really, as it leaves the front wheel resting on the ground and does not provide adequate stability.

Are you going to get the Topeak flash stand in stock soon?
Asked by: Eddy0609
Its in stock but having purchased one don't expect it to be much use. Buy something more substantial.

Will this have any trouble fitting to my Specialized Ariel or Dolce bikes?
Asked by: sllaw97
Seriously don’t bother with it, its quicker just to turn you bike upside down and rest on seat and handlebars than muck about adjusting it all just for it to fall over as soon as you touch it!
