Just perfect what I was looking forWhen I ordered my Topeak bike stand I just wasn’t sure that it would be what I was looking for, I certainly wasn’t disappointed when it arrived I was really pleased with the product and it is so tidy and easy to store when bike is not place on it, it’s very sturdy and bike balances very well on it, would highly recommend this product.

Quality stand that folds down neatlyQuite pricey but it is nicely made and folds down to a very compact size - purchased to take with me to CX races but to be honest, most of the time it's used in the garage / garden. Recommended.

A great bike standA brilliant bike stand, very sturdy, the grooves in the stand support the wheel of your bike well and the rear arm provides further stability. The rear arm is also spring loaded and provides more than adequate support without damaging your tyre or wheel. I have used this on a road bike and mountain bike and they both fit in well. Stylish in chrome and folds flat so great for storage when not in use too.
Most definitely recommend and you will not be dissapointed.
Would this stand be able to support a bike and prevent it from falling over if it was mounted in the back of a van?
Asked by: Animal987
I think it would depend on the size / weight of the bike but I doubt it. The stand would likely slip and the bike would probably fall over when you went round a corner. I wouldn't risk it.

Is this a good stand for bike maintenance also?
ie. Can you spin the back wheel freely to work on your gears?
Asked by: Scottah
This stand locks the wheel in place, you can use it on the front wheel, and hold the back wheel off the ground. But it really isn't a full maintenance stand.

maintance
please can you advise how the front/rear wheel fixes into this, also does it lift the front/rear wheel off the ground, and can the wheel be spun around for maintance once the wheel is in the stand
Asked by: mcw1965
No, you cannot spin the wheel while it is in the stand. I wouldn't suggest it for maintenance. The spring loaded arm (forward pressure) holds the wheel in place while it is in the stand.

Will this stand accept 27.5 x 2.6 tyres?
Will the stand accept 27.5 X 2.6 mtb tyres on my Specialized Stumpjumper, the question has been asked before and the English answer say yes but after translating the Spanish question/answer the response in Spanish was no! I would like to order to to use with my bike and my sons new frog 62 mtb .
Asked by: Muzzer2011
The manufacturer states 2.25" is the widest tyre to fit. Sadly we cannot guarantee that anything larger than 2.25 will fit, however others have successfully used the device for larger wheels.

Outside use
Is this stand suitable to be left outside?
Asked by: peddler64
It would not be recommended to be left outside. Over time rust and corrosion may form.
