Best pump I've ever owned
This is the only pump worth considering if you actually intend to pump up tyres to proper pressure on the trail side.
It has a seperate hose for attaching to the valve so avoids bending presta valves, a fold out foot plate transforms it into a mini track pump for hgetting propper pressure in the tyre and each stroke moves a lot of air.
I've rescued many people at the side of the trail messing about with silly light weight mini pumps
Its not the lightest but if you get a puncture it will save you at least five minutes pumping time

A very good pump
The first thing I have noticed is that less pumping is needed with this pump compared with the pump I had before. Secondly I see that the quality of the material is very high considering that the body of the pump is made of aluminium. Finally, the quality-price ratio is definitely good

Pump that packs a punch!
If you are looking for a MTB pump with a bit od omf this is the pump for you! OK, it's not a light and small as some, but I choose to sacrifice that for performance. When I need to pump a tyre up out on a trail I want to do it quick and this pump certainly does that.

Felt cheap and plastic - returned
I've returned this item because it didn't have a quality robust feel and have ordered the slightly more expensive Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HV ABS Pump with Gauge as an alternative.

Needed on first outing!!
Bought this pump to replace an older, different Topeak model that broke. First ride out (MTB) and it was called into action. Easy to use, pumps up to more than adequate pressure and doesn't take forever to get there. Small and light enough to carry with you but also comes with frame clip should you wish to attach to your frame. Would recommend as a good, well priced, lightweight easy to use pump.

I've been easily able to get my tyre up to 85psi perhaps more without strain. The hose helps versus a push on to the value type. It might be slightly fragile if you had to use it more than every few weeks.
The instructions for adapting the nozzle aren't brilliant but I figured it out with fiddlnig.

This pump has great features and pumps up flats on the trail in no time at all - it really helps with a long tube, folding handle and the foot pedal. So much easier than the usual mini pump. It has a really handy frame mount too. I mostly ride with the pump in my pack and it just fits in a 10L pack, so if your pack is smaller it might struggle to fit in, but then again you can mount it to the bike! Would certainly recommend this pump. Real quality.

Compact and plenty of power
Normally, you will only know how good or bad a compact pump can be is when you are stuck on the side of a trail having had a puncture. This really breaks the mould as I would say it could easily act as a car-based track pump due to the fact this gets the pressure up real fast.
Ergonomic design with some serious power helps to get you back on track with the minimum of effort.

A mini-pump that really works!
It's small and gets air into a tyre rapidly and without fuss. Large volume 29er tyres can be inflated to rideable pressure without giving the pumper arm-ache or a coronary infarction. Only criticism is that it lacks an integral pressure gauge, which would be a nice addition. (But my experience is that they don't really work on mini-pumps - for some reason - so Topeak, if you're reading this, don't bother unless it's going to be functional!).

Broke the pump handle clip
The pump handle has a twist clip to hold it in place, this is very fragile. I broke it the second time I used it

Great bit of kit
I use this all the time after a recommendation on an MTB forum, its small enough for a back pack, and is rebust and strong.

A Good Blaster
I bought this pump to replace a brand new pump that I had previously bought from another well Known Mail order company.
The first pump was absolutely rubbish so I sent it back.
This pump although a bit bigger is an absolute blaster whether, used just as a hand pump or with the foot plate out and on the ground.
I cant vouch for its longevity as I have only had it a short while, but if you want a pump to get your tyres up in a hurry this is the one.

The best high volume pump you could fit in a pack
This is simply the yardstick by which other high volume MTB-specific pumps are measured. It is a little big, but you do appreciate the extra volume when you're repairing punctures. Fits in a Dakine Nomad and Osprey Zealot without issues.

Best portable pump I've owned
This is the pump all my mates want to borrow when there is a puncture in the group. Inflates tyres quickly.

Awesome pump; does just what it's supposed to.
Well engineered and well made pump. Easily inflates MTB tyres at lower pressures and will also cope with road or cross tyres at much higher pressures. The addition of the small foot plate makes it easier to use as a mini track pump when trailside and it all packs away nicely to fit inside your backpack.
Had one for many years, recently bought a second so I have one in either backpack... bit of an extravagance, but hey it's worth the money.

This pump is what you want on the trail
When out in a group, my friends ask for my pump if there is a puncture, because it works so much quicker than the others. Good hose flex. My second one of these excellent pumps

Does exactly what it's supposed to do, pump up tyres BUT it took me ages and lots of abortive purchases to find the ideal product. This is it!

Excellent product, well constructed and works well. With large volume tyres, it needs a large large-volume pump to get a quick top-up to the desired pressure. The Morph does it all.

Large ugly but functions really well
This is larger than comparable pumps and is not elegant but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in function. Easily inflates mtb fat tires and is also able to get road tires up to high pressure. Recommended. The best functioning pump I have ever used.

Pumps up a tyre quickly and without any fuss
Excellent pump. I already have the road version as well which is attached to my road bike and my mate who borrowed it has since brought one. The footrest feels small and fragile but it seems to work perfectly so with careful use I do not see this as a problem. Would recommend 100%.
13 June 2013
Not used it very long but the quality is good and it pumps fantastically compared to other mini pumps I've had in the past. Everything I could wish for
13 May 2013
Great in a backpack.
Great pump to have out on the trail in your backpack. Being able to fold out the foothold lets you exert plenty of force that has your tyre inflated up to proper pressure in no time.

at last a decent pump
I have struggled in the past with mini pumps , taking forever to reach a decent psi , will it work wont it , so after reading many reviews on here and other sites , i went for this and boy this is a proper pump , first impressions its everything i wanted , tuff big , and dont take long to pump a tyre up , the extented valve it a great idea ,, its not the smallest of pumps but its proper ,

I was so impressed with the power this pump ,I also ended up buying one for my road bike ,the foldable handle and step are so ergonomic that allow to grip the pump decisively and efficiently and inflating tyres is quite an easy and effortless job.Well recommended for road tyres ,as it doesn't take long to reach the 110 psi mark.

This is a great pump high volume and easy pumping action
07 November 2012
Much less effort required than a normal pump required to get your tyres inflated to a good psi. The lever that locks onto the valve, locks on when flicked up rather than down like most car foot pumps, which I found odd.

The best mini pump you can buy.
I recommend these pumps to everyone I ride with. Fits easily in my camelback and can inflate everything from 90psi road tyres to 2.4" downhill tyres.
The kick out foot, flexi hose and "t-handle" make it easy to pump tyres up by the road side or on the trail. Pumping tyres up when you are away from home is never going to be something you want to have to do but when you have to do it you want the best tool for the job and this is it.
I'm writing this review as this is the third of these pumps I've bought in about 8 years (it might be longer tbh) so I guess I get 4 years per pump. I only need to replace this as I snapped the foot of using it as a tyre lever for a road tyre that resisted coming off the rim when I was commuting to work and didn't have time to muck about.
My favourite mini pump bar none !

Ok with reservations
Looks good and seems to perform well. However doesn't fit on my bike frame. So will have to pack or pass on to friend. I suspect it's a good pump
24 June 2012
Great pump which does the job
Decided to go with this pump after getting a flat and the small, insignificant pump just couldn't cut it.
Overall this pump is well finished, great set of features and easy to use.
Only issue I've had is the overall size means I've got to attach it to the main top bar of the bike, instead of next to the water bottle above the crank.
15 February 2012
Somethings there is no point in going micro and saving the pounds...lets face it, your riding off road, so you will puncture, this makes pumping so so much easier...think 10 pumps and i was at 35psi ish...save the pounds else where id say and carry one of these!

The mini morph pump would be the better buy, it will do both presta and schrader valves for road and mountain, but it is 100 grams lighter. 250 grams for this pump is too heavy to mount or put in your back pocket
Hi, it's very easy and instructions come with the pump, but basically you need to pull out the rubber end that fixes to the valve and make sure the smallest hole is facing outwards and the piece behind it is the right way round too.

Unscrew the head of the valve and swap the internal sleeve and adaptor around. It's fairly obvious what way it needs to be fitted based on the design of the valve, i.e. presta or schraeder, that you'll be wanting to use it with.
