Solved one problem but created anotherBought this to help protect my third toe from blisters due to the second toe rubbing against it. Went for a run at the weekend and although it did protect the blister, it has nearly pulled my nail off. The silicone is quite tacky and with every step, it gripped the end of my nail and pulled it up slightly. Over the course of a run, the nail is now just about hanging on.

Great for running and cyclingThis has been a bit of a life saver for one toe when I run as it stops the nail getting smashed (no, shoes are right size) and another when I cycle where the need of added shim from bike fit means the toe area is now more snug and little toe rubs inside the shoe to the point I could no longer bear the pain.

worthlessI've always had a problem with my big toenail ripping the upper of any running shoes I wear, even after only one run. I thought these might be the answer, they were soft and pliable, fit well, I thought they were a little expensive, however. On the first run, one of them came off inside my shoe, very uncomfortable, after replacing it three times I gave up. The other one simply ripped, on the first run, and not from my toenail, but under the pad of the toe. My wife couldn't stop laughing.
