Manufactured with a strong and durable triple-butted 6061-T6 alloy frame, the Energie Cyclo X Bike comes with full carbon forks and a 12mm through axle configuration for improved tracking. This Vitus cyclocross bike is a comfortable and reliable machine. A 27.2mm seatpost improves comfort, whilst the dialled-in geometry of a longer top tube and shorter stem work together to improve handling: something you'll be grateful of on tight and technical courses or navigating built-up areas on your commute.
Equipped with a race-ready single ring chainset and a drivetrain that's organised around SRAM's Apex 1 Hydro groupset, the Vitus Energie Cyclo X Bike also features a wide ratio cassette with a single ring X-SYNC 40T chainring. The gear combinations will let you navigate loose, muddy 'cross courses. Apex hydraulic disc brakes, a tubeless-ready WTB Frequency CX Team/Novatec wheelset and Vitus' own finishing kit completes this package. Bottle cage mounts have been added along with mudguard mounts to expand the potential for all year multi-purpose use.
The cyclocross specific frameset has increased tyre and mud clearance for large cyclocross tyres. Cable routing is specifically designed to prevent ingress of mud and water and to increase comfort when shouldering the bike during cyclocross race situations. The high-modulus T700 HM-UD full carbon fork features a tapered carbon steerer and beefed-up blades to ensure precise tracking and steering with the ability to handle the rigours of competitive cyclocross racing.

Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
