The Sommet 297 CRX features a carbon/alloy frame adorned with 170mm-travel Kashima-coated Fox Float Factory suspension and a 12-Speed Shimano XT M8100 wide-range groupset.

It rolls upon a mixed-wheel platform (29" front, 27.5" rear) that offers a sublime balance of rolling efficiency, stability and control for riding all-terrains. Vitus has also fitted it with 4-piston Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes to control your momentum with dependable stopping power. The Sommet 297 CRX has been developed to run a mullet wheel setup. A 27.5” rear wheel gives you more clearance over the back for steep ground and is responsive through tight corners, while a stable 29” wheel at the front eats up rocky terrain and keeps momentum high. You’re getting the versatility of both wheel sizes in one bike. Plus, it’s easier to pull manuals and wheelies.
