The ZX-1 features a stiff and flex-free frame and fork construction, which delivers exceptional aerodynamic efficiency and stability in all race and weather conditions. Its highly-optimised racing geometry enables you to cruise past the race-pack with ease as you soar to the top of the podium. This bike is designed to climb the steepest, most challenging hills with superior efficiency and will race all the way back down with precise, powerful and confidence-inspiring braking power in all weather conditions.
This road-race dominator was developed in partnership with pro-race teams and its performance is utilised by the UCI Continental Pro cycling team and is raced by some of Britain’s top talent, including multiple Olympic champion Ed Clancy OBE. It features a BB386EVO bottom bracket and 12mm thru-axles front and rear, which optimise power transfer from every pedal-rotation to the road. Plus, it rolls on the exceptional-performing and iconic Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels wrapped in Continental Ultrasport II tyres. The ZX-1 was bred for competition and boosts your rider-desire to win by providing the ultimate in reliability, power-transfer and cornering finesse in all race conditions.
Assisting the ZX-1 is a Shimano 105 R7000 drivetrain, sharing characteristics from it older sibbling Ultegra, the R7000 groupset is sleak stealth groupset designed for power transfer and aesthetics. The all new chainset with its enhanced design to increase stiffness on the downwards pedal is coupled up with a 52/36t compact chainset.
Shimano have redeveloped the shifters to make them more ergonomical and with reduced shifter swing allowing a smoother gear change whilst making them more comfortable for the smaller hands. These are then wired up to the new compact front derailleur, which uses a new cable pull method allowing a lighter gear change. The R7000 rear derailleur uses Shimanos ever reliable Shadow system which allows you to run wider ratio cassette. Vitus have then spec'd the 11-30t cassette making sure that you are supported up the hills as well as down them.
Coupled up with the Shimano R7000 drivetrain is a set of the all new 105 hydraulic brakes, Using the new flat mount standard the Shimano brakes work on a dual piston braking system allowing a lighter and better performing brake. Coupled up with 160/140mm Shimano's rotors and IceTec pads these brake will not let you down when you need to stop no matter what the conditions!
As a finishing touch Vitus has spec'd a mix of thier own finishing kit, Prime and Prologo. Complimenting the frameset is a Vitus custom aero Carbon seatpost with a 25mm offset allowing plenty of adjustment to ensure the bike fits well. This coupled up with the Prologo Dimension T4.0 saddle making sure that you are comfortable whilst on those long rides. Aiding at the front end of the bike is a Prime Doyenne 6 Bolt stem bolted to a set of the Vitus Alloy road bars allowing maximum comfort and control.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
