Description

The interior of the wheelbags feature a separate compartment for storing Skewers etc. Two heavy duty PVC discs are positioned in the centre of the bags to protect the hubs, cassettes and disc rotors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good wheel bag This is a well made and well thought out bag. I like that it has a small pocket inside for the axle (or whatever you want). Another nice touch is the reinforced centres in the circle part of the material. The only thing i would watch out for is the sizing, - i have a 27.5x2.4 wheel/tyre and this just fits in the bag with a bit of a squeeze, this is why i have given it 4 stars. If your wheel/tyre is smaller/same size as mine this is an ideal bag, not so sure if a bigger tyre involved

Yet another wheel size question. 700c tire size max.

Regarding 700c wheels. What's the max tire size that should fit in these bags? 28mm? 33mm CX? 40mm Gravel?

I've just put a wheel with fully inflated 33mm CX tyre in mine. Fitted easily with a few mm to spare.

What are the external dimensions of the bag with a wheel inside ?

I was thinking of purchasing to use inside the pocket of a bike bag for air travel ie for extra protection . The full bags will need to fit into the pockets on my bike bag.

This will depend on the size of the wheel you are using (a smaller wheel without a tyre would allow this to fit in a slightly smaller space).
